Smells great but doesn't last

If you need to safely cut through the grime on your dog (or cat) this is the shampoo for you. I worked as a groomer for 8 years. I have tried a bunch of other so called grime busting shampoos with no luck. Grooming in Alaska presents special cleaning needs such as marsh grime,fish guts, deer guts, Alaska allergy funk, etc. This shampoo provides a safe, gentle, and powerful cleaning to break though the natural oils on the hair as well as the grime so you can really get your pet clean. I know it says it is a dog shampoo but I have used it on cats with no ill effects to their skin, only a luxurious clean and fluffy coat. Use this to cut through the grime then give a second bath with this or your normal shampoo and you will have one clean, good smelling pet. The light citrus odor is very pleasing. Take it from this groomer, you can't go wrong with this product.

Has a chemical smell and is very drying to my labs already dry irritated coat and skin.

We found out about this from our pet salon. My wife cannot tolerate strong odors. Some aromas are extremely offensive to her. We received this and have found that it lathers well and leaves a very refreshing odor on our dog's coat. By cost, one also receives a value. I can't recall the mix by volume but it is very economical. We purchased two squeeze on Amazon and keep them ready whenever we need them. This shampoo is an awesome value.
