My younger child gets carsick AND has a special talent for spills and messes. I found the NIKO after my fourth god-awful cleaning session of her carseat--taking all the parts off, washing some in a bucket, others in the laundry, finding and cleaning every single crevice and strap...it's the literal worst. Also, I wind up with scratches all over my hands when I do that. But I digress... the NIKO saves a lot of effort. It spares the carseat from most of the mess, especially in the butt area because of the waterproof liner. Also, it's much softer than the carseat material, and the light color material feels cooler to the touch in summer than the dark car seat pads. I've washed it at least ten times, and it still looks and fits great. I've been moderately successful at training my kid to put her food messes in the pockets, so that also saves my floorboards from lots of crumbs and sticky goo. I keep at least one extra NIKO in the car at all times. I'm buying this one so I'll more on hand for a long car trip. Better safe than sorry.

I love my NIKO and definitely recommend it to keep your car seat clean. It’s super cute and soft. I bought the one with the unicorn design. It’s really easy to slip on and off my car seat and can be thrown in the wash with the rest of the laundry. I’m planning to buy several more to give to my friends who are moms as gifts.

Looks cute on carseat cover I don't like the fact that it doesn't have the waterproof liner all over its just under the bottom part where you would sit the baby, but not long enough to go under neath the the entire baby bottom. So if a leakage occurs then it will leak on carseat anyway..maybe it would work on a booster carseat not a full carseat like mine. Waterproof liner not long enough

I'm giving this three stars because it is a nice material. However, it does NOT fit my carseat. I have the Graco 4ever carseat. My son is three and tall, so the back has been raised. I have no doubt the cover would have been an okay fit if he was still a baby, and the seat had not been adjusted for a toddler. I don't want to bother with sending it back, so it's going in the trash. I just wanted to make sure no one else made the same mistake I did.

My wife and I are starting our baby girl on solid foods, and while watching her throw banana and apple puree around is kinda funny, it's also super messy. I can only imagine how much messier it gets from here. And that's why we decided to look up a cover for our Chicco Bravo car seat/travel system.We've already had a couple spit ups in the car, so we know what a pain it is to clean. That's why we're so glad to have found the Niko Cover. Being able to take the cover off and toss it in the laundry saves us so much time and hassle. And as an added bonus, it's a really nice design that makes the seat look great. And, as far as we can tell our daughter loves how it feels (based on how she nuzzles the fabric).So for all the parents out there looking to find another tool or trick to make raising your munchkin just a tiny bit easier, I couldn't recommend this seat cover more. The thought of introducing her to more snacks in the car just got a little less stressful and it helped my eye to stop twitching. At least until we need to start potty training.Thanks, Niko Cover!

I bought this because I want a clean carseat at all times, and the new carseats are very difficult to take apart and wash every 2-4 weeks. My toddler is always getting some gross food/snacks on his chair so I bought this. I put this on before washing it, and immediately it was too tight for my Graco Extend to Fit carseat. I have a tall 2 year old, so the seat back is at a high setting, but not the tallest setting. This is basically a thin jersey cotton crib sheet (fitted sheet) with 2 giant slits cut into it for the buckles. The huge openings flap around and provide no protection to the areas where they are just wide open. These openings go all the way to the seat of the chair.The other big problem is this thing gets pulled down as your toddler tries to get themselves into the car seat. So then, you can't buckle your child into the seat until you pull the cover back upwards. As the fabric slides down, the opening for the buckles (that are huge) move down until the shoulder area can no longer be accessed. Its just ridiculous and no one has time for this. The large hanging pockets are pointless and look sloppy. No toddler can reach what is in them if they are buckled in. The opening for the cup holder is sloppy and gives you two options. You either unbutton all the buttons or else part of the fabric will cover the cup holder so your toddler can't get their sippy cup into the hole without your help. I see I have time to return this item so I plan to do that, because it was such a waste of $40. Once you wash and dry it, it will shrink because its jersey cotton, and then wont fit at all. You are going to be better off buying Ikea crib sheets and just cutting holes for your buckles and cup holders.

The Niko car seat cover is a lifesaver. It's incredibly convenient with easy washing and provides fantastic protection for the car seat. And it looks great too! A solid 5-star product! Strongly suggested
