I can not rate durability because I haven't had this mattress pad long enough. What I can rate is the accuracy of its cooling nature. I wake up drenched almost every night with my Tempurpedic mattress. My hair damp, clothing soggy and hardly any sleep. I love my mattress but the heat trap is real. I bought this mattress pad to try to dissipate some of the heat and holy hell, it works! It did soften the mattress a tiny bit. If you have night sweats, stop reading and just buy this topper. I can't believe I've waited so long.

Lies. 100% Polyester
I will never buy from Amazon again. What lies. A shonky product description promoted by Amazon. 100% Polyester, this is a skinny, skimpy, hot, mattress protector. Nothing like the photo. I am extremely suspicious about the glowing, untruthful, Amazon reviews. This is not a cotton 'cooling' mattress topper. It is a $20 hot, cheap, polyester mattress protector.

Good thing
Just received mine a few days ago and threw it in the dryer for 1 hour to fluff it up. I put it on my mattress and it fits rather well. As for adding comfort to the mattress, WOW!!! I am really impressed by the added comfort. I would definitely recommend this mattress pad, especially for the price. Update... Okay so I slept on it and it felt much cooler than my old mattress pad.

Advert on made it up to be much more than it is, nothing more than a glorified bed sheet. I won't be buying another one.
