I have only been using this for a week now hence the 4 star review, but so far it has worked great! I was having a breakout at the time of purchase and this calmed my skin down a lot, the only downfall is I think rubbing the product directly on your face hurts a little when your skin is breaking out but there is other ways to use it. My skin is very sensitive so I can confirm this won't irritate your skin, however it does make it quite dry after use which is fine for me cause my skin clears up best this way, just make sure you use a good moisturiser afterwards. Definitely good value for money, also unique compared to others on the market due to its style. Would recommend so far :)

It works well, but it is just not worth the money I think.

Having suffered with body acne since my early teens I regularly use salicylic or glycolic products - and when I saw this soap on offer I thought I’d give it a try and bought both the salicylic and the glycolic ones. I tried the green salicylic one first and absolutely loved it - best salicylic soap I’ve tried and noticed a marked difference in my skin straight away, plus it lasted for aaages (the Carbon Theory one I’d previously been using only lasted just over a week). Then I tried the pink glycolic one - and I have to say I’m seriously annoyed. My skin hasn’t been anywhere this healthy since before I hit puberty. Only thing is: it smells like Granny soap. I think it’s got rose oil in it or something, and I absolutely hate it. I can’t even walk upstairs without the scent wafting from the bathroom (I’ve probably over sensitive to it because I live with my mum and she doesn’t notice it). It’s absolutely Sod’s Law that I’d eventually find a product that works but the smell puts me off! Obviously scent boils down to a personal preference and may not bother other people. Would I buy it again? Definitely - but I won’t be happy about it!

Been using this twice daily since Christmas. Smells great, skin feels soft, skin feels healthier. However, it is very drying (my skin is combination/sensitive) when the product description claims it isn’t. Did initially cause skin to purge but only took three days to get rid of the blemish. Excited to see how this helps my skin with long-term use.

I’ve been problems with hormonal acne for ages and I’ve tried all sorts of different skin products. Decided to try this soap based on the reviews. I used it twice a day in the shower - I’ll wet my face, lather up and leave it on for a minute or two before washing off. It leaves the skin feeling very very clean. I should mention I’m now on my second bar of soap now so I’ve been using this at least 10 weeks. I tend to get really large cysts around that time of the month but for months now I’ve had nothing except very small spots on the side of my face near the hair line. Barely noticeable which is a massive improvement. I’m not using any other acne treatments for the first time in 3 years. I’ve used this as a body soap too a couple of times if I’ve noticed any spots appear and it’s worked. So I highly recommend this soap to anyone at the end of their tether! Use twice a day but let the foam sit on your face for a minute so you get the benefit! You might notice it dries the skin out so use an oil free moisturiser and you’ll be good to go.
