**Q: How are these removed and inserted?**
A: The bulb is locked in the socket. To remove, you need to push down on the bulb and turn, typically counter-clockwise. To insert you align the two metal flanges on the bulb with the openings in the socket, push down, and turn clockwise until the bulb locks into place. The flanges align the bulb's filaments correctly for projection. If done correctly the flat plane of the filament array will be perpendicular to the line from the bulb through the projection lenses. CAUTION: Do not handle the bulb with your bare hands! If you do there will be some body oil transferred to the bulb glass and that will causes stresses in the glass under the considerable heat of the filament when it is used to project images. Use either a paper or cotton towel to handle the bulb when inserting or removing. If you have touched the glass already, wipe it off with a paper towel moistened with rubbing alcohol.

**Q: what is the bulb height and socket type (T10?)**
A: The actual bulb length is about 4 1'2 "(not including the part that goes in the socket. I am not sure what "T10" is because I am not an expert on light bulbs but the socket is not prong type, it is more like a regular light bulb without the threads. Hope this helps, eFast
