The poles are sturdy and canvas is of great quality, didn’t have any unpleasant odour. Comes with a carryon bag. We haven’t used the mat yet since we already had foam mats set up for the kids. The star light string works fine ( need batteries) and adds a nice touch. My almost 4 year old loves it and likes to cuddle inside with a book! The front of the tent doesn’t close completely, so it doesn’t have that “privacy “ feel, but then I like to keep an eye on my kids! Its almost 3 weeks since we set it up and it has stayed in place. Nice addition to our living room and kids love it.
