This conditioner is so thick that it feels more like a hair mask. It doesn’t so much pour out of the bottle as squeeze like piping icing out of a tube with a nozzle, standing proud up on your hands like a mousse. When applied to your hair, it feels quite dense, and the thickness doesn’t level out much as you spread it out across your scalp. It initially feels like it’s going to de-frizz your hair simply using weight rather than anything clever.The results once it’s been washed out are quite similar to what I get from a L’Oreal mask. There are some ‘volumising’ products I can’t really stand, but this certainly isn’t one of them- my hair doesn’t feel any thicker as such, but it does feel smarter. There’s a little bit less fly-away behaviour from my hair, but it doesn’t completely flatten it out for a goth look or wet look. The additional shine is negligible and overall it makes my hair look like… how my hair normally looks, but a bit more under control.There’s no great joy of indulgence in using this conditioner. There’s not much scent, the cream is a bright and plain white, and if you were given this product in an unbranded bottle you’d probably be very hard pushed to work out what product or even what brand it was among dozens of others. Despite being thicker than average, distinguishing features here are surprisingly thin on the ground.The bottle is smart and squirts well, considering how thick the cream is. It has a very ‘pro’ look about it that will make people who spot it think that you take your haircare very seriously.At the current asking price of twenty-six quid for a 500ml bottle though, you’d have to take your haircare very very seriously indeed to think that was good value, considering conditioners and masks from other brands for less than half the price are going to give you results which, on my hair at least, are essentially the same.It’s a successful conditioner, and one I’ll reach for on days when I want to look a bit smarter, so for me it only really misses out on five stars on the basis of value. It’s a little bit special, but not twenty-six-quid special.

Bought this conditioner to try out on my very dry, frizzy hair. My hair is so soft after first use and a lot less frizzy. I imagine it's even better if you use it with the shampoo. A bit expensive though, small bottle for 18 quid, but then again you only need a small amount.

I have frizzy, curly hair so I decided to try a dearer shampoo and conditioner. Was it worth it? Not really sure to be honest. You don't need to use much so it lasts a lot longer than cheaper ones. Have I noticed a difference in my hair? To be honest, no.
