NB-5L NB5L Battery for Canon powershot SD800 SD900

This battery does not hold a charge and doesn't meet my needs. I have tried to use it along with the battery that came with the camera but this one needs charge almost immediately.

This battery works great, there isn't much of a difference, if any, between this and the battery that came with the camera. I definitely would recommend choosing this over the canon brand if you are going to buy an extra (or replacement) battery. Can't beat the price.

They work. They don't hold as much power as the original battery from Canon but it's an affordable product that serves its purpose. I keep it in the pocket as a small spare tank.

Amazon describes the batteries as "3.7 V / 1200 mAh ". However, the printing on the battery reads "3.7 V 1100 mAh." I don't have a way to tell the actual capacity, and they are probably a better value than the OEM Canon battery, even at the reduced capacity. Nevertheless, it would be nice if the Amazon description were accurate.

Don't buy! China knock off crap with a fraction of the actual capacity the real product has! Barely lasted 60 (!!) images vs. original canon product that can do 300+ images on one charge.

Seems to work just as well and last just as long as the Cannon battery. For 5$ each I have 3 and can go a month without worring about my camera going dead at some crucial time. (other then when it is sealed in the underwater dive case and I foolisly don't put a fresh one in after a week just before leaving on a dive boat on the barrier reef, out of luck after 3 shots there :-()

Arrived partially charged. Worked right out of the box. Can't beat the price. Cannot say anything about longevity at this point.
