Lex😩 just that name should be enough to make you read the book. But honestly that book took me through 100 different emotions like a roller coaster and I can’t wait to read the rest of the series

Couldn’t even finish reading it. I desperately want my money back

Lex Edwards is everything. He is a powerful billionaire who will fight anyone who stands in his way to keep his one love Charlie from him. After running into her many years after walking away from her he never wants to let her go again. No matter all the trouble they went through in their past the love they have for one another 8 years later is something that is worth fighting for! Their love story will forever be one of my favorites!

So I actually saw a TikTok about this book and I knew I HAD to get it so I ordered it right away and read the whole book in 5 days (I have kids so it took longer) and omg I ordered the second book 2 days ago because I knew I would finish this and want to jump into the second book right away and it’s delayed😭 but it’s no fault to anyone I’m not mad just really anxious to get it so I can binge read again. I couldn’t put this book down I hated when I had to put it down because I just wanted to keep reading without interruptions🤣 this book is SPICY 🥵🌶 literally a must read may even spice up things in the bedroom😉

Like many others, I purchased the book based on a TikTok I saw. In reality, the book needs another pass from an editor, Lex and Charlie gave me “ick” vibes, and the spicy scenes felt like they were written by a virgin that’s only ever watched p —0rn. Character development was inconsistent and a bit all over the place.Alex/“Lex” needs a therapist. Grooming a minor which just weirds me out reading their spicy scenes from “earlier years”. His controlling/borderline stalker character frustrated me.I LOVE a good spicy read but this one did not jive well for me. Stopped reading about 3/4 way through. Kept trying to finish the book but the further I read, the more I felt like I needed a shower (not in a god way).

This is book 1 in a series and I intend on reading the 2nd one too. This book gives every emotion that I can think of. I highly recommend.
