Great dual action brush. Found it great to use when dealing with Parkinson’s. Just turn it on and let it do the work. One brush lasts me for about year. Replacement heads are also available through Amazon. Easy to replace them. Comes with battery, but I found the best and strongest to use is the Energizer Lithium.

I've purchased this item three times over the past 8 or 9 years. It works well and one battery (if it is of good quality) lasts a long time. The toothbrush does come with a battery of very poor quality with hardly enough power to make it work! The manufacturer does itself a great disservice by supplying such a poor-quality battery. It gives the purchaser a very poor first experience. Replaceable brush heads are available from Amazon as the brushes do need to be replaced as they wear out.

I have always used the Arm & Hammer Spin-Brush, and now that it is no longer available, had to find a replacement. I specifically wanted one that used batteries, so I don't have to fuss with a charger when on a trip. I was frankly concerned that there were no two-battery units like the Spin Brush, worried that a one-battery unit would not be as aggressive as I would like. And when I first used this one, it seemed less forceful, so my concern remained. Over a few days I realized that this brush vibrates a a much higher rate than the old two-battery Spin Brush, so it seemed to be doing its job just as well as my old device. In fact, it finally occurred to me that the whole idea of an electric toothbrush was to increase the brushing action rate compared to manually brushing; therefore faster is better, offsetting any lack of aggressive power. I have come to believe that this brush is every bit as good as my old one, even with only one battery. One thing I should mention though, is after several weeks I failed to notice it was moving slower. Just as an experiment I put in a new battery and voila! It began spinning at a much higher rate - I hadn't noticed it slowing down, and will now pay attention as it may need a battery every two to three weeks. That's not a problem as my old Spin Brush needed two batteries over 4 to 5 weeks, so it's basically a "break-even" on battery usage. It's been over a month since I got this brush, and in fact ordered several because they are very well priced on Amazon; I waited to review it honestly and can now say I am comfortable with the lighter touch and faster speed as a better solution to power toothbrushing. I hope this doesn't get discontinued in a couple of years now that I find it so useful!

Powerful enough to make me feel like my teeth are clean. The battery life is good. It is durable and ergonomic.

Great toothbrush for the money. Easy to use, cleans teeth well, is comfortable in the hand and fits adult mouth very well. Battery is replaceable. Very happy with this item. Have bought before. I find the vibration action excellent and it's easy to turn on and off. Highly recommend for adults.

I have been using this toothbrush for years, but every few years I do buy a new one because like ANY toothbrush, they get a little crusty here and there. Who wants that? I was shocked to read on Oral B's site (which won't let me register to leave a good review) all the bad reviews. First, I have no idea if it whitens or not, I just like the brush and the complete action and cross action heads both fit either model. I will address complains on Oral B's site, in case someone has these questions: 1. The head is hard to remove and you are not given a tool: It's confusing at first, but read the picture directions and it's easy. There is at tool provided and you get a new tool every time you buy new heads. The tool has a little knob on it that fits into a tiny hole at the base of the brush head/top of the neck. You press that in there and it pops the head up, then you pull the head off and simply snap the new one one. EASY! 2. Someone said they took the head off their sons brush and it had mold. I've used this for years, I change my head about every 2 - 3 months because I brush hard, my folks change less often because they don't wear out heads like I do, and I have never seen mold, mildew, or anything. Once in a while a little toothpaste build up, I do run it under hot water though before putting on a new head. I also rinse it before and after I brush really well. I also had my brush in a sanitize unit for years that gets warm and dries your brush, but it has died, they no longer sell it, so I plan to to use the snap on ones and hang it up right on the wall so it can dry properly. However, on vacations, I've left it laying all over the place for up to 2 weeks and never found mold! 3. I read batteries fail quickly. Nope. Nobody in my family has had battery problems, the probably last a good 6 + months before it starts to slow down to the point where you need to pop in 2 more. I'd say, I change my batteries max, 3 times a year. All in all, this is a great toothbrush. It keeps my teach very clean, nothing ever left over in there! I also currently have braces on (yes, I'm an adult) and my dentist always remarks on I am the only person who comes in with clean braces. Granted, most people that she sees with braces are well under my age and probably don't brush like they should, but still, I think a manual brush would not do nearly as well in the all the little crevices that come with braces and wires and bands that the electric one can do. I used the brush before I had braces also. I highly recommend this for price and quality.

Love the product. Hate the crazy price increase. 30% increase overnight... i hate how we get taken advantage of as consumers. The only way to fight it is to NOT buy it.

Excellent product, very difficult to find the same Model. I would recommend it anyday, if available make sure to buy it with some extra brush heads.
