I purchased my first battery from this company around June of 2022. The battery was SUPER easy to install. No problems with it at all, the battery life was great and everything. Until fast forward 7 months later, a couple days ago, my Macbook randomly turned off and didn’t turn back on. Until I put in the charging chord and it turned on, only to show me that there was a literal “X” on the battery icon, which meant my Macbook detected NO battery inside it. I was devastated, especially since I start college in 2 days. I purchased another battery from this charger and hope it works again. If it doesn’t work, I’ll have to return it and unfortunately purchase a newer Macbook for college. If you are willing to change out your battery periodically, every 7 months, then this would be a good battery for you. However, if you are like me, and would rather avoid these problems, (especially because I’m in college!), then I would just buy another Macbook. To be fair, my Macbook is almost 5 years old, so it might be time for a new one… hopefully not! 😅EDIT: The Amazon seller contacted me and issued me a full refund for the product! I am super satisfied with this company and the product and will continue purchasing from them in the future!

I called Apple and was told it would cost $340 to replace the battery in my Mac Air. Since this battery is warranted for a year, cost less than $30 and instructional videos looked pretty straight forward, I decided to do it myself. 20 minutes later I was finished installing it. That was yesterday, and today the laptop is functioning like new! Do you know how much beer you can buy for $310.00?I'll give an update in 6 to 8 months but I'm a happy customer right now!! They even provide the tools to make the swap!UPDATE:This is the real deal! After a month the battery is performing like original equipment. Don't hesitate to give this battery a try!

It is July 2021 and I bought my mac in 2012. It lives again!! Battery change took about 20 minutes - I just did it so have no clue on battery life but the money was worth it even if just to get a full back up and all my passwords. I don't know much about computers. My original battery was down to where it lasted about 20 minutes but I used my power cable all the time so it worked. One day it would not start, and I also noticed that it was not taking a charge (because the little orange light on the charging cable never turned green). I was hoping that the battery dying was the problem. I figured it was worth the $30 to find out. It was super easy to take things apart, but be sure to have a small cup or something for the teeny screws (I used the cap of a plastic storage container). It was really easy and now my ancient mac is back to life and I am using it to write this. Bad news is that because Mac OS has changed so much, my phone won't talk to my iTunes and I have some apps that will no longer run on this old machine, so I will have two once I get to the Mac Shack and plunk down my grand. Photos - the one with the green and blue tools is what you get, the other one is what a macbook air looks like with the bottom cover taken off (the thing is about 60% battery). Also - the battery will come with a plastic film on it, I was unsure what to do and left it in place.

After having purchased three replacement batteries for a 2017 Macbook Air, and having them all dead within a week, tried one more time with this battery. Computer was otherwise fine and worked great other than the dead battery so wanted to try to give it a little more life. Figured I would get the least expensive one on Amazon, since all the other more expensive ones all died completely within a week, whats to lose other than 30 odd bucks. So far, after 3 weeks, this battery has proven to be reliable. Can't say how long the honeymoon will last, but for the cheapest battery out there to work fine with no signs of letting up, I feel like it's a decent deal.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED !! Simple changeout with tools provided. Instructions recommend a video. Worth watching. Very pleased with the value delivered and the quality of the instructions and kit.Videos I watched only show 4 inner screws holding the battery. There were 5 screws hoking the battery in my MacBook Air 2017. The 5th is right in the middle below the slot. I was wondering why the battery would not pull out, and I found the 5th screw.

Solid battery that works well. On the mac book I replaced it took 5 mins to change and then It works for about 8 hours which is way better than before.

I bought this a month ago and everything was fine up until 2 weeks ago when suddenly everything started breaking, my computer was even slower, the battery wasn’t even that great, but the worst of all my laptop simply wouldn’t turn on. There were moment when I would sit at my desk and hold down on that turn on button for minutes and it simply won’t turn on, even with 100% battery. At times when it did turn on and I managed to open it it would randomly crash 15 minutes after. This only started happening after the battery. I wanted a refund but now I can’t even do that because I passed the window. Thank you for breaking my computer now I have to spend hundreds of dollars on a new one. Do not recommend.

I have used these batteries before with no issues. My most recent battery however once installed and calibrated, started giving a false charge status by saying the battery was full whilst being unplugged overnight. I tried to turn my computer on and the "charge battery' screen greeted me, after plugging in the computer, the battery indicator showed 100%. There are a few other glitches going on related to the battery I am sure. I am hoping for an exchange.
