They are to be used with a wax product. I use them with Moom Organic Hair Removal Kit With Lavender (for extra senstive skin). I've used both products since 2008 and both products are excellent. **Q: Is this 40 or 50 yards?** A: 50 yards **Q: I was expecting the browner cloth. will these work just as good with leg waxes and bikini lines if i use the gigi honee wax?** A: I think these work great - with Gigi waxes and other waxes. I have used the browner strips (which are more of a cloth, less of a paper which is what these more look like) and I prefer these. I use them for leg, bikini, underarm, face. **Q: can you use these for your face** A: I believe so.
