I love this tape over the rope. It allows for the tree to grow and DOES NOT damage the tree bark when windy; ie it does not produce rubbing scars. Great product. I have purchased this product at least twice maybe three times no. Also, it handles the south Texas heat and sun very well. Still strong after a year plus!!!! Keep it up manufacturer.

Used this plant tie tape to secure small heavenly bamboo plants to stakes. The tape is very thin and easily tears. The tape would keep tearing when tying it into place and we would have to start all over again. Then, a few days after tying the plants into place, we found the tape on two of them had already broken. We are now purchasing a different brand to complete our project.

This stuff surprised me. I thought it would snap off or stretch and become useless, but about 2 months in during the southern heat and thunderstorms it’s holding up. The trees are happy. I don’t see needing to replace the ties I have on there but once a year, if that, to allow the tree to grow properly and tie it off where needed.

It is such a time saver to be able to order this and have it be the same quality as in the stores. Stores can make it hard to find, or the material has sat in the sun. This material was as pliable yet strong as any I’ve bought. Very happy to put it to use.

The product works as advertised and helps keep plants supported to trellis and cages. Only gripe is that I thought it was a nylon mesh type material that would be more stretchy. Sometimes stems/vines get damaged from the less flexible plastic tape, than if it were a stretchier nylon.
