Poor
Very poor book, lots of facts about the country...the usual topics, not very well written, and with inconsistent spelling of Spanish (when used).

It is very educational
I really enjoyed this book. It taught me things I did not know about Spain. It also corrected me on my misconceptions about Spain. Any book that does that is a book worth reading again.

This Is An Excellent Interesting Book About Spain.
When my sister visited Argentina, she was surprised that the people over there often ate dinner late at 10:00 PM or later. This book mentions that the people in Spain also eat dinner late at 10:00 PM or later. This is an excellent interesting book on Spain. I learned some new additional facts that I did not know before reading this book. Some of the interesting information that is mentioned in this particular book includes the following information: Tapas (snacks) are popular in Spain. Sangria is a dark red wine, which is how it got its name. Sangra is the Spanish word for blood. Spanish is the native language of nearly 500 million people in dozens of countries and ranks number two in the world as the most widely spoken native language, just behind Mandarin Chinese. The Spanish language evolved over the years, taking influences of Arabic. The word siesta had to do with the number six. The connection was that it was a traditional nap taken by the Spaniards during the afternoon or the sixth hour of the working day. The name siesta comes from Spain. The Spanish spread the idea to Latin America where it is still very common in some countries. The origin of the name Madrid is unknown, but many people believe that it is Arabic, having to do with the Manzares River. The Balearic Islands in the Mediterranean Sea and the Canary Islands in the Atlantic Ocean belong to Spain. Spain's highest and lowest points are not on the mainland. Spain is usually the leading supplier of onions to the rest of Western Europe.

I don't do book reviews....
I don't do book reviews........ I read the book and if I liked it I give it up to 5 stars, if I didn't then it gets a 2, if I didn't finish then it's a 1, that's it I'm afraid.I read it, I like it, I want more from the author.I don't write reviews that describe the content of the book as I don't see the point of telling everyone the storyline, plot or subject as I feel it spoils the book if you already know what it's about or what's going to happen. As with a vast number of Kindle books there might be the odd spelling and punctuation errors. After reading hundreds of Kindle books of all types and subjects you get use to them and they become less noticeable, unless there is an effect on the storyline. The more these errors effect the reading of the book the less stars I give it even if the story is a good one. Some of the books I read have been gifted to me by its author for review and my reviews and ratings are not biased in anyway.
