GREAT LTL option.
First off, this thing is REALLY good piece of mind. I have been handling firearms for almost 40 years. My wife has one as well, but sometimes is a little reticent when it comes to openly handling, charging, and making the weapon safe, which is completely understandable given her lack of experience and handling them. This little guy is a GAME CHANGER. She absolutely loved the idea of a LTL that can easily be transported in her truck and is 50 state compliant without a license. The unit itself:It is quite hefty. I have CCs that are much smaller, lighter, but no safeties and completely lethal. So this is a great alternative. It is a little larger than you would think, but not a deal breaker for an adult. Capacity has been noted by some to be lacking, but 5 pepper/kinetic .50 (sweet) caliber balls fit in it with ease. I actually stagger them for the triple tap. Pepper, kinetic, pepper again. .50 balls of either type are readily available.Trigger pull is crisp and VERY smooth. I am not sure if other reviewers had a bad unit or what, but 7 o'clock and 2 o'clock pull are non existent.Decently accurate!!! I cannot stand optics on pistols and quite frankly think they are 100% laughable. I hit 300 yards with a 45ACP...You do not need a laser/red dot/etc on a pistol...The sights are trench and built in but manageable. PLEASE do not paint this like some youtubers have...the orange makes the trench sights very visible.I did not test the pepper cloud, but a friend noted they had and it is effective up to about 10 away after dispersal so I will take their word for it.Loading is pretty easy but the chamber catch on mine was apparently broken and does not want to stay shut. A little strip of duct tape solved that problem so no biggie.Comes with 3X 8 Gram CO2 cartridges and 10 pepper and 10 "practice" (kinetic) rounds and as noted earlier I stagger them for pepper, pepper/disorient/pepper. I LOVE the backstrap (guessing? as it does not have a hammer) charge notification pin and CO2 release. VERY well thought out so you are not wasting cartridges. Also 8gm cartridges are also readily available.Which brings me to charging it. I and my wife LOVE the slap-to-charge. Again you can pre-load it and carry it all day the time without the CO2 bleeding off and it can rapidly be charged and engage. Slap, fun button time.Loading it is not the FASTEST...but if the threat is not neutralized with the 5 round capacity, chances are LTL will not take care of it and my other 19 friends that can run REALLY fast get to enter the show.As noted my trap door would not stay shut. Not a deal breaker as I am a grown man and know how to fix something and I like this little thing.Fully loaded and with CO2 cartridge it does run just over 650+ grams (2lbs) it is still decently light enough for easy carry.I would definitely say, if you want a fantastic LTL for a loved one OR yourself...this is a fantastic option.Rock solid 4 stars just because the gate would not stay closed...but still a great option.*UPDATE 2 days later and with a little practice...My wife LOVES this thing....Upgraded to 5 stars...Put dents in steel and went straight through plastic...Outstanding!!!*

I feel (a little) safer. I'm not a gun person. I wanted something.
So far, so good. Fun to shot in the backyard. I'll use up a Co2 cartridge and then head back into the house. I live in a suburban area. I can't hang around outside shooting off 50+ rounds. I wish I could. Lol. It's a loud little sucker. The nylon rounds travel the fastest and are the best for target practice. Use aluminum and pepper rounds for home defense. The aluminum hit hard. A couple in the face after some pepper will make them wish they didn't.

Wow! I hope I never need to use this for anything but fun.
Wow! I hope I never need to use this for anything but fun. This gun has a solid, high quality feel. It's surprisingly accurate and very powerful. The solid rounds hit very hard, the powder rounds are great to practice with and give a very good idea about how the pepper-balls with work if needed.

Packs a punch.
Bought this purely for when my wife and I do our walks at night. We live in a bit of a remote area. Not worried about people, just animals.I ordered the Gen2 version and it seriously packs a punch. Chrono of 422fps on 2nd ball using 1.5g balls. That is just at 12 joules. Put in 2.8g aluminum ball and got just at 300fps which is about 11 joules. Definite improvement over the 7 joules with the Gen1 version. Be warned, this is not backyard friendly as it is LOUD! Size of gun is slightly larger than expected. About the size maybe bit larger of a Glock 19. Comes with 3 CO2 8g cartridges, rubber and inert powder balls and a tool to unload balls from the barrel. I did not get the Pepper/PAVA ball version as it was not Prime. Shoots hard but after about the 7th or 8th ball is deteriorates quickly. The CO2 push to activate feature is very good. If you still have CO2 pressure but want to replace the cartridge, all you have to do is turn the knob slightly and it will release all pressure. The gun does have a little black button on the back to let you know the cartridge has been pierced.Cons:Wish it held more than 4 ballsThe trigger guard rotates down to load the balls. It does not clip strongly to the gun frame. Twice now in removing from my pocket, the trigger guard rotated. Would have thought that on a Gen2 product they would have redesigned. Not a deal breaker but just annoying.Still very happy with gun. Looking to thingiverse or design myself and clip to hold guard better
