Fit nice no leaks hopefully will hold up

Seems to be well crafted seals and the tool is also very solid. Was able to remove old seals and torque new ones without damaging pins on the tools. Installation was easy, time will tell durability of the seals, I have no reason to think they wont last a long time. I bought these because description stated made in North America, I hope its not just Chinese parts passing through Canada.

This is a great quality product that I would recommend it to anyone looking to replace their Seastar seals.

Appear to be high quality seals- time will tell. However, best item included is HEAVY DUTY wrench to remove seals. My seals were original and painted over. Needed 20 inch breaker bar to get seals out. Would have had a hard time trying to use flimsy wrench provided in the $25 kits. Get what you pay for.

Boat steering

Whoever is responsible for returns on these, seller or Amazon, claimed return of a defective set was never received and tried to reverse my credit. Beware! Fortunately, I had the UPS receipt. I used these two different times. One set worked great. The other set had one bad seal the was deformed and wouldn't slide onto the shaft unless great force was applied; clearly defective. I won't use these for future jobs because I don't like shady sellers.

Used to replace endcaps for my factory seastar hc5345 caps. So far so good. Holding good. Need to design an inexpensive tool for removing tilt tube bracket.

Works just fine!
