IRIS USA Dog Food Storage Container, Airtight, 30 lb Capacity, Wheels

Love this dog food dispenser! It holds about 24 pounds of dog food, and my bags are heavier, but I just use smaller container for the rest of the large dog food bag’s contents. This storage container is on wheels so I can move it around easily. The lid snaps shut securely. I don’t believe any pests like ants, roaches, beetles, mice, etc could get into this container if you snap it shut after every use.

Just what I needed. This container is really about perfect for the price point and for what it is. Likes: I love the overall capacity (at 30 pounds) which is about the size of large bags of kibble. I love that this thing is transparent. I was concerned at first that this was only a removable top, but actually this has a hinged side so this makes access to the food very easy. I like the ability to view the mount of food in the container. I like you can out this on wheels or not. Dislikes?: This is not the most robust built item. It is good enough, but if you aren't careful, I could see myself easily wrecking the hinges. Other than that, this is a good system for food storage and using daily for the pets. Overall: Good item.

This holds a large bag of dog food and stays fresh and is well sealed. The container is super easy to use too, with or without the wheels. You can also keep the bag of dog food inside this container if you want double freshness.

I was so excited to get this and put it together. I recieved it a day earlier than expected which is very appreciated. The size is exactly what I needed. It will fit all of my pups dog food and keep it fresh it seems. The thickness of the plastic is thick and sturdy. I love that it came with wheels, however one of the wheels came broken. The metal piece that goes into the wheel doesn’t stay in the way the other one did. I tried pushing the wheel into the metal thinking it just needs to snap in but no it comes right back out. Maybe mine is just defected. Not sure but all in all seems like a great container for large amount of dog food. It closes and feels like it is air tight. It has like a styrofoam around the lid that helps to keep it air tight but not sure if it will last seems like a cheaper option with the styrofoam. But we shall see how it holds up once I get a new one. Hope this review helps someone else ps I looked for others and this size is hard to find with great reviews for the price too. Happy Findings.

I like this container. The wheels roll smoothly. I had trouble with the lid. When I opened it 180 degrees the lid would fall off. I created a hinge with duct tape - it comes in colors - and it is not really noticeable. Works like a charm. I would buy it again.

We are a three cat family, and we have always kept our cat food bins in the garage. A few weeks ago, I went into the garage and found that little rodent teeth had chewed through BOTH of our cat food bins. After I called our exterminator, I went on the hunt for a new cat food container. We buy about 18 lbs of food at a time (we have a Maine Coon, And boy can she eat!), so I needed something big. I’ve always had good experiences with Iris brand containers, so I ordered this. It’s a winner! The lid goes on the inside of the bin and you push it down, so it sort of vacuum seals. My husband compares it to burping the old Tupperware, but easier. The plastic is really thick, so I think it will last a long time, but it’s also on wheels, so we can roll it around to the different cat’s feeding locations. Super important- the wheels don’t fall off when you lift it up, so you don’t have to worry about it tipping over. That’s a problem we’ve had in the past. One note - this does not stack. It’s a standalone bin. Most importantly, Mary a mouse has found there way in since we got!

This container is great, seals good and rolls where o need it!!! It can be used for other things besides dog food, could be used for chicken feed, bird feed or things like that.

Perfect for storing a 40 lb bag of Purina Pro Plan! I bought this large dog food container specifically because I wanted something that would fit my 40 lb bag of Purina Pro Plan, but I also didn’t want to pour the food directly into a plastic container. The 40 lb bag fits perfectly inside the IRIS 54 lb container! I simply cut the top of the dog food bag, roll the sides down, and place the entire bag inside the container. It keeps everything contained, fresh, and easy to access. I prefer storing the food in its original bag rather than having the kibble sit directly against plastic for extended periods. The original dog food bag is specifically designed for contact with the food, whereas using a separate plastic container means the kibble is directly exposed to that container and the container needs to be regularly cleaned and dried. This setup gives me the convenience of a sturdy, airtight storage container without having to transfer the food out of its original bag. Definitely recommend if you have a 40 lb bag of dog food!
