Gooseberry Giggles Collection 9cm Hardy Perennial Potted Garden Plants 3X
Arrived yesterday.Arrived in good condition and well packed with leaflet on how to plant them and take care of them. Which helps a lot. . Pots were nice and damp and leaves look good on all plants.Plant 1. Giggles Green was 39cm tall with plenty of shoots and leaves on. Looks quite good and healthy.Plant 2. Giggles Red is 28cm tall with plenty of shoots and leaves. Looks nice and healthy too.Plant 3. No name so not sure. It's 28cm tall. 1 main shoot with 1 tiny shoot coming from the bottom. It could have had more shoots but hopefully will sprout more in the coming months.Plants look nice and healthy and no dead leaves or broken branches. Little disappointed in the smaller plant with the 1 main shoot though.Still giving the whole batch 5 star. It's years since I grew any gooseberries and looking forward to them over the years to come. Once well established I'll add more pictures.

Arrived infested with Leaf Spot Fungus
Arrived on time and the plants are of a good size, however, unfortunately they are all infested with extreme leaf spot disease. As it is autumn, we are still hopeful for the spring but very disappointing. We are now having too plant away from our red currants as the fungus goes dormant in winter and can spread

Survived outside over the winter, and are now flourishing.
Last year I decided to make my garden disabled friendly, and these bushes fitted the bill perfectly. To start with I followed the immediate instructions given by the supplier, and my carer, not realising I had done that gave them a second watering. Two came away from that perfectly okay, but one of the bushes was not happy. However, we still planted out all three bushes in a semi-shaded spot in the garden, and remarkably all three survived the winter. Now in the spring, they're all doing beautifully, and where they are is going to be their permanent placement.I can't wait for my first harvest of gooseberries, and if I'm exceedingly lucky, I might even get a tiny harvest from them this year. Heck, I'd be happy with two gooseberries in the first year. 😉The price at the time was extremely competitive, and I thought they were excellent value for money.
