This is a good idea but the gaskets keep falling out so unless I check it and push it back in before flipping it over, it will leak. And pushing it back in is not super easy to do, so it's really just a hassle. But it is a cute tumbler and it stays pretty cool, so I will still mostly use it with just the top lid.

Slight leak. Nothing that is unmanageable.

My package arrived over a week late and I was so excited I tore it open only to be greatly disappointed the next morning when I prepared my tea. Doesn't work like its described. When you flip it up side down the water floods to the Loose tea and steeps but any water not in the compartment doesn't steep at all. when I flipped my cup back the strainer is so small the loose tea clogged it and the "tea water" wouldn't diffuse back into the cup. If I hadn't thrown out all my boxes I would have returned it. Haven't used it again.

It can be dangerous. The first time i used it, an o-ring was not secured and it leaked with hot water when i flipped it. After that i did not twist it shut completely one time and it leaked hot water. The pressure builds up in there when you twist it shut- - heat expands, so when you open it it sprays a little. Also the metal is hot when you try to open it, and if you wear oven mitts, then you can't really twist it open easily because you can't get a good drip. I would not recommend this product for use in a car, or by the young or elderly. So why give it 3 stars instead of one? Because it all depends on how your going to use it and for what. For example, green tea requires water that is less hot, so that can be in your favor. Some people have time to wait till its cooled off, so that might work for you. Some people might use it as an infuser, power to you. I still find it useful, and convenient. But buyer beware!!

Love this tea infuser. I like that I can take it on the go wth me. I haven't had any problems wth it so far and it's exactly what I was looking for at a fair price. Far exceeded my expectations.

This is a great little personal tea infuser. The stainless steel strainer is tightly woven, so your loose leaf tea will stay secure in the cap. The cap holds about 1/2 cup loose leaf tea, so there is plenty of room if you like your tea stronger. This cup will hold about 12 oz of water, so this bottle is enough for 1 large cup of tea, though not enough for sharing. The bottle is well constructed, with secure lids that screw on tightly to prevent leaking. When you pour hot water in the cup, the infuser is not hot to the touch so you can handle the tea maker without burning your hands. The design logo is great and looks nice on the cup. The only reason this infuser did not get a five star rating is because there were no instructions included. I think if this was double the size, it would be a much more practical. Overall, it's really great and if the size is right for you, this is a great tea infuser.I have fairly and honestly reviewed the Fliptea infuser in exchange for a discount.
