Dulux Simply Refresh Feature Wall Matt Emulsion Paint, 5569239, Cannon Ball - 1.25 L

Love this range of paints , it’s such great paint to work with, deep thick colour that is really forgiving on walls with little imperfections! I also bought a deep blue colour that was equally transformative on our other toilet wall!

Wow wow wow!!! Such a small tin with impeccable impact! It really is feature wall paint. Bought to paint a panelled wall. It really did only need one coat. I couldn’t believe it. I thought the newly panelled wall would soak up so much paint it wouldn’t be possible. Used ordinary paint for undercoat and literally one coat of this was like it had been painted 3 times! Brilliant stuff.

I finally decided to get rid of bright red walls in my bedroom, I eventually chose cannonball for such a big task. I was dubious over whether one coat would do it x3 walls, one large, one window wall & another. I purchased three tins thinking it would require a few coats to cover it all......I was pleasantly surprised one coat done it all, & it was covering fire engine red! I only used one full tin & half of the second. I even painted my bedroom tv unit with some, & considering it is not a furniture paint, it turned out well. I decided to keep the third unopened tin instead of return it as a non required item, because I can see me using it for further projects. It isn't exactly the cheapest at £18+ a tin but to cover such a bright shade in one go, it's worth every penny.

Love this colour for a feature wall - cannonball. Thought the small tin wouldn’t go far, but as the tin says, one coat is enough so we’ve got 2/3rds of a tin left. Easy enough to paint with. I usually go for a wipeable finish, and this one isn’t. It’s a shame because if you rub anything against it, it marks. I imagine we’ll end up touching the wall up every couple of months as a result. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the finish. Brill purchase from Amazon too as was cheaper than the website and delivery was perfect. Was a bit worried as not ordered paint online before but it was fine.

Great paint, wouldn’t say one coat guaranteed, had to buy two tins

- Order 1l bottle for a wall, did not expected will be that great. Absolutly worth the price. 😊🙈. I have to do finish here too, so ill order another 4l of this, for the rest of the walls and finish. Higlhy recomend. And by the way, the paint goes well after 4h so no need to wait for finish next morning. Absolutly recomend. 🙈
