Everything in the description says it's plastic. Not true - box is plastic but the inserts that hold the knives are cork, which is what I wanted. Perfect size, not too big, not too small. Not positive but I think this was a return, it practically fell out of the box and there was a seal on the bottom that was either broken or missed covering both edges of box in manufacturing. Nothing seems to be damaged so I'm happy with it.

First impressions: much more solid than I expected, with good anti-slip bottom. This isn't going to move around in the drawer and I don't foresee it breaking unless I throw it at a tile floor. Finish on the dividers is fine but not top-end (basic blunt edges rather than refined/smooth), and knife handles aren't as convenient to grab as in a typical wooden 1- or 2-layer, angled drawer block. But this is much more compact (wooden blocks feel like 75% block and 25% knife; this can be packed pretty densely with knives) and flexible to fit your collection.

Did a good job helping clear some counter space in a small kitchen. I do wish it was a little longer, my chef knife and bread knife hang over the end a bit. Overall happy, does the job and is easy to clean.

I got rid of my knife block to reduce the clutter and I needed a storage solution. This one fit in my utensil drawer. It's easy to see which one I need.

great item, strong, well made. got this to keep us from getting cut trying to get knives out of our draw. we don't have a lot of counter space, we've tried have dividers and silverware trays but, still have to get to the knives. this puts handles right there to pick up, they aren't rubbing each other, there is more than enough room for all of most used knives.
