My husband used these whilst he was on a hike up a mountain. He said they gave him good burst of energy and tasted nice. They are Super easy to use and small enough to fit into the pocket of your coat or backpack. It’s advise you take them every 30 minutes whilst doing intense exercise.

This was my first time trying any type of "Energy Gel" before so i wasn't really sure what to expect from it when i ordered them.After using the VOW Half Time gel over the last couple weeks i can see why it would be a popular choice for getting a decent intra energy fix as its helps offer Hydration & Energy with 22g Carbohydrates & added electrolytes giving you that all needed boost without being heavy on the stomach.I've done it in the past & had a pre workout to soon before starting training or drank some BCAA's mid workout & then had it sloshing around while i'm trying to workout which is not fun at all, as it takes your focus away from the job in hand & ruins the training session.This is where these energy gels from VOW come into their own as they can offer hydration, energy & electrolytes without the risk of any bloating.VOW has three gels that are all set up to give your body the best ingredients it needs at the right time so the KickOff has caffeine to give you that starting boost the HalfTime is energy & electrolytes while the FullTime gives you BCAA's for the recovery.I personally think these would suit athletes for things like long distance running, cycling or other endurance sports as you could get that all needed boost without having to ingest a lot, plus they are light & easy to carry, suitable for Vegans, tested for banned substances & approved by Informed Sports.As for the flavours i've tried the apple & orange ones so far & they both tasted pretty good.Overall though i definitely see VOW's potential & would recommend it to others although i feel its geared up for more higher end athletes that compete rather than myself.

It is no secret that a good supplement can improve how you perform, whether that be at the gym or a football game. This energy gel by Vow has problem to be consistently potent and effective, providing an easy to digest burst of energy without the crash!I love this gel as unlike sports drinks, you wont experience any cramps. Furthermore, it is absorbed by your body more efficiently and faster. As it is all natural and scientifically backed, you won't experience that unwanted energy crash. This is the perfect half time refuel you need for your sports, it is powered by electrolytes and carbs to keep you hydrated and energised for a prolonged period of time.Well priced with a nice subtle citrus flavour. 5 stars!Thank you for reading my honest review, I hope you found it helpful! :)

The main thing I didn’t like about these was the grainy texture. I’ve tried other energy gels before which have been smaller and a lot smoother.Taste wise these are fine, it’s a sort of orangey flavour…. But it’s the grainy-ness that made them hard for me to swallow.Packs are easy to open and lightweight so good for endurance sessions, I’m training for 100km walk so these are a great pick-me-up when training.They certainly do seem to replenish energy, helping me to push myself to go a little further each time.For just over £10 at time of writing for a pack of 12 I can’t fault these for their value- I usually pay £1 per pack, so these come in a bit cheaper.Overall I probably won’t get these again, just because of the consistency, but if you’re not bothered about that these are a good Engel gel pack at a great price!
