The little metal grill is where the carnage takes place, but because it is behind the bright orange cage you hardly notice the little carcasses.

Ridiculous instructions, if you can even call them that. I think it was probably written in another language and then google translated into English. Let's just say that things don't always translate so literally. In this case it was entirely useless and if anything, more confusing. We did use it though! I just plugged it in and hoped for the best. We didn't get bitten once during the night during our Costa Rica trip (several locations and accommodation types).

I tried this little zapper for the nats that come in from my garden with my vegetable's to use by the kitchen sink but it is pretty much useless I can not say I heard or saw it zap a single bug I brought in my big zapper and that killed them good , maybe its just too small to attract them good idea that dose not work on Louisiana bugs

This was the first electronic pest control product I purchased just to see if it would work. It did just what it was suppose to do. It got rid of my gnats. I still use it, but I went further with a more powerful one. Thanks.

I apologize for giving this any star.It simply doesn't work. I have had it on for a week and it couldn't catch anything.On top of that If you touch it after you unplug it, it gives you a very painful electric shock!

Fun little night light. I used this to plug in near my turtle tank... got some of the pests. Good enough to eliminate the problem. Worked on the fruit flies too.

I've had it on for 2 days now and not a single fly has been caught by this crappy device. In fact, they're everywhere around it, except where they should be.The 'instructions' on the back are basically some Chinese copy-pasted to google translate and there's no way someone can understand what they're supposed to mean.I have no idea how a product like this can have a 4stars review, completely misguiding.

Waste of money, I have around 10 flies flying around my apartment at all times. I've had it plugged in a couple weeks now. Not one fly
