The media could not be loaded.  I purchased this carrier for my lionhead and it is exactly what I'm looking for. I can't speak for a long-term durability yet, but the plastic seems to be high quality as it has withstood several little nibbles from very sharp teeth with no evidence left behind.Product looked a little intimidating at first because of all the parts. But the instructions were easy to follow, the product itself was very easy to assemble and everything snapped into place quickly with little force.At first glance the materials look a bit flimsy, but when assembled together they hold well and are very lightweight which makes for easier travel. I imagine the plastic holding the top door in place could break easily if handled to roughly. The plastic latches that hold the bottom to the top seem to open a little easily, so just be mindful of that. The carry handle is sturdy, and well fastened to the metal top door. I like how the metal door in the front doesn't have the typical spring latch, instead it uses two tiny levers to release either side of the door which I feel is more convenient than trying to line up the metal spring latch to the holes on other carriers.What I like most about this carrier is that it is very light, and extremely spacious for its size. Lots of ventilation too, and easy access to the furry user.Please read the instructions before using. Proper use of carriers indicate to always hold the bottom of the carrier as well as the handle to safely transport pets. As long as the instructions are followed I feel like this little carrier is perfect for what it's intended for.

I like the product but it was a little difficult to put together I didn't realize it had so many pieces.

The carrier will be sturdy. I finally assembled all but the handle. My hands are not strong enough to snap the handle on the top so I made a handle out of duct tape. Pushing the door locks into the holes was hard and I pinched my finger on the first one. I am keeping the carrier because I need a sturdy one but next time I will pay more for a better one. Update- if you try to carry it from the top, the door swings open & the cat falls out. The top lock s are not secure.

I liked the openness of the design (as did my Kittens). It was easy to put together & was perfect for taking them to their Vet Appointments. My normal size 6month old Kitten at 6.5lbs. fits but can't sit upright now without ducking her head but my pint sized 5lb. 7month old Kitten can. I only transported 1 at a time in this carrier but when I first adopted them they did fit together. I feel this carrier is good for cats under 8lbs.

I needed a cat carrier and went for Ferplast as being seemingly a reputable make. It took me ages to put it together, firstly because of the usual puzzling diagrams and no text and secondly because when you FINALLY get one difficult to put together (really stiff!) another bit won't work. Finally, I got most of it sorted with the use of much swearing and pliers, and found that the sliding catches for the lid absolutely wouldn't slide shut. No WAY can this be used as anything but a waste of space. Utterly unfit for purpose. I will have to order another carrier AND get one from Pets Corner to cover myself. What absolute rubbish!
