Ginkgo Hair Clip, Hand Crafted Metal Barrette Made in the USA with a Medium 70mm Clip by Oberon Design

Gingko trees are sentimental to me, so I was excited to have found this clip. I have a head full of very fine hair, so most clips either won't hold the top section's girth or will slide out from the weight of the clip...not so this time! I'm a stay at home mom of two and put things to the test. This hair clip holds all day without yanking my hair or needing adjustments. The craftsmanship of the clip itself seems to be quite sturdy, and the details and luster of the leaves is exquisite. It comes in an attractive box with a thank you note and would be perfect as a gift for a friend or yourself, as is. I hope to have this for years to come and will purchase their other designs for friends and family.

When ordering the metal barrette crafted with ginkgo leaves in a medium size, I was hopeful but skeptical that it would be too heavy for my fine hair or not fit my ponytail properly. Surprise - what a beautifully packaged handcrafted hair barrette! It has a little weight but not too much to hold my hair in a ponytail. It lies comfortably on the back of my head and opens & closes securely and easily. The craftsmanship is exceptional. Its sturdiness and thickness are indicative that I’ll be using this barrette for years and pass it on to one of my daughters +/o granddaughters. Keepsake Quality! Plus, thank you, I received a handcrafted charm as a token of the craftsmen’s appreciation.

This hair clip is absolutely stunning. The design is beautiful and the craftsmanship excellent. They have even taken extra care with the packaging.I was so delighted with this piece I ordered another hair clip of a different design as a gift for my granddaughter. It arrived today and did not disappoint. It was just as lovely as my original purchase.

This beautiful Gingko hair clip arrived today & I'm delighted with the workmanship. It is just lovely. I would have given 5 stars but , for the life of me, I can't figure out how to get the clasp opened. I'm sure it is not as difficult as I'm making it out to be, but I can't wear it if I can't open it . I could use some help with this.I will happily update my rating when I've had a chance to use this.Update : Just pinch the sides of the clasp & it pops open. Duh! I love it & I already have my eye on the Dogwood one.

Just love it. This barrette holds medium thickness hair securely but not too heavy. Design is lovely. A new favorite.

This is a beautiful barrette that holds my hair well and is more elegant than the plastic ones I use every day. However, it’s also the only barrette I’ve ever owned that regularly hooks on the wrong side. It could be operator error, but it’s annoying. Enough so that I don’t wear it often.

I am amazed with this product! It’s a little smaller and lighter than I thought it would be (which is perfect for my hair!) and the details on the clip are more beautiful in person than in the pictures.I will absolutely be supporting this company in the future and will order another design today.

I absolutely love my Oberon Designs hair barrettes! They truly are fine quality jewelry for my hair. They securely hold my thick curls. I prefer the medium size for a half-pony and the large size for a full pony. I appreciate the little charm included with each order. I will probably own all their barrettes before long. They are that good, and I won't waste money on cheap barrettes since I found my first Oberon.
