The color is exactly what I was looking for. The fabric itself is great for my embroidery projects. The needle goes through smoothly and the fabric doesn’t leave big holes from the needle (have had this happen in some kits I have purchased). Not see through but there’s enough light that will come through so I can trace designs. Will be purchasing again!

Perfect for small projects, good quality cotton

I’d give this 5 stars if the fabric looked anything like the images. I’m tempted to rate it lower because it’s just not the fabric in the images, but I really like it! As others have pointed out, the Lily White is an off white, creamy light beige color (lovely! But not lily white) and the fabric has a much tighter weave than is shown. In fact every time I start searching on Amazon for embroidery fabric, this is recommended, and I look at the pictures and go UGH NO! That’s too coarse and too white! And then I check my order history and remember that this is actually that lovely antique white, thick, soft, tight weave cotton that I love embroidering on! And then I buy some more. You can see in the images that I tend to do heavy, detailed surface embroidery and it stands up really well (unlike some thinner cottons I’ve used) and has a nice not-bright white color to it, and you can’t see through it hardly at all (very dark colors up close? Sure, there might be a slight shadow, but unless you’re making things for a museum, truly you’d never notice). You can also see it has a tiny bit of nap and texture to it, but honestly? I only notice it in photos. It’s really, really lovely to stitch on! It has a nice drape to it without being remotely flimsy, and it stands up well to soaking and ironing. I’m about to buy more for at least the third time.

Perfect material for crafting. Its soft, yet thick. The neutral color doesn't stain or discolor with embroidery threads or washing. The price is excellent. Would recommend!

Purchase this to use for some custom ornaments I was making for people and this was really great. Easy to work with and held the embroidery floss up perfectly.

I’ve always used premade kits but this was the first time doing something myself based on a pattern I found online. I drew it on the fabric with water soluble markers and it turned out great as a present for my best friend.

You get 6 pieces, if you’re buying based on image used just know you don’t get rolls, it’s just 6 small pieces in a bag. You’re not getting 3 rolls or 6 rolls. Definitely not the best quality but will do the job, just wouldn’t recommend this for anything other than practice. It’s very stringy, the weave isn’t great either. Might update review after I use them.
