Never failed Me.
I've used these for years for bluegill and shellcrackers and they seem to like the red hooks. I have caught several 3+ pound catfish without a failure.

look just fine to me.
I bought to try a new color hook, as the fish in my lake have excellent vision and won't bite most hooks ( tried gold, silver, brown, and black) in the daytime. If I fish just before daylight or after sunset (while viability is poor) I catch lots of fish. But this only last a half hour @ most. My hope with the red hook is that it will blend with the red worms and fool them into biting more in the daylight. Haven't had time to try em out yet! Wish me luck!

That's a Bunch of Hooks. Should last me for years. Haven't used them yet. But look to be a good quality.
