All of my kids used this everyday
My daughter is a gymnast and my sons think they are super heroes in training. They practice backflips, fighting stances and general acrobatics. With this isolation/social distancing, I’ll take any fun imagination driven activity that takes time away from electronics. They have fun and it keeps them safe because it’s well padded, sturdy and easy to clean. We use it inside and outside on my grass. Mostly, we have it in the living room as it’s so hot outside. We love this mat.

Hard as a rock
The reviews I saw were mixed as to whether this mat was too hard. Now that I own one, I am firmly (if you'll pardon the expression) in the "too hard" camp. It is slightly better than my ceramic tile floor. But not significantly better than laying a thin yoga mat over it. Also, despite having a velcro strip on one edge, it does not fold up tight. Do not recommend.

Great mat! Super firm though
I am a big man working on getting back into shape and that includes doing stretching/yoga/mobility training. I was tired of my knees and arms and myself going off a regular yoga mat...hardwood floors are not friendly to one's knees! This mat is awesome and brings back nostalgic memories of my earlier days in Jukado...very similar thick mat that can handle size with no problem. It leans on the side of super firm and perhaps may break in some over time but you can tell this mat is built to last! I am very pleased with this purchase and would really enjoy it if they made a 8'x5'x2" mat...that would be a dream. Who knows, the company could have made that size but I am quite happy with mine!

Not 2" as advertised!!
This product is NOT as advertised. It is only 1 1/2" in thickness, not the 2" thick as specified. Do not purchase if you want a 2" thick product.

Very nice mat
This mat is loads better than the one I had before which maybe cost about $35 less but started disintegrating about 6 months later. I expect this one will last me a few years. I didn't even realize that the previous cheap one had a zippered cover which could be removed and supposedly washed until I was ready to get rid of it. I'm highly skeptical of that claim and am pretty sure my washing machine would have destroyed it. What I could tell by attempting to remove the remains of the cover on the old junky one was that it was a very thin flimsy cover and was prone to sticking to the foam underneath. In the future, I will stay away from any that claim the cover can be removed and washed and hopefully be able to just keep buying from "We Sell Mats." The "We Sell Mats" cover has a good quality thick exterior cover which is smooth and easy to clean. It isn't perfectly stretched (if that's an issue) and that's how I can tell the exterior cover is thick by pinching it in such spots. But being perfectly stretched across the foam isn't an issue for me and I don't even think not being completely perfectly stretched across the surface would get in the way of someone trying to do gymnastics (I don't recall the ones in gym class in school being perfectly stretched either), though for impact, I would think you'd want something thicker than two inches anyhow.
