Done after a year of service.
Black and Decker used to be a trusted brand, oh well. Guess that is long gone too. I bought this unit and it lasted for a year, then quite working. Seemed like the compressor failed because it would still blow out air, but it was room temperature. I will say their support was great! they sent me a replacement unit. Problem was that unit only lasted a year also. They wont replace the failed unit since the original purchase date is more than a year ago. Looks like you might get two years of service out of this one. I wont be purchasing any Black and Decker anymore since their quality is no better than a cheap import now. Too bad.

Awesome Unit
Bought this window unit to cool a utility shed. Works perfect and cycles better than the old one I had of a different brand. I would recommend to anyone who is in the market for an ac. Update:: After 1 year unit is not cooling anymore. Not very happy at this point. Over $400 and it only lasted for a summer and a half.
