When I received it, the handle was on the right. There's no screws or anything to move the handle to the other side. It's just one solid piece. I returned it. Fortunately, the replacement had the handle on the left. **Q: borosilicate or soda glass?** A: Soda lime glass, hope this answer was helpful. Thanks for your interest. **Q: What is the durability of the markings on this cup? Several years again there were complaints that the markings washed off pretty quickly.** A: I have had this GLASS measuring cup for six months. I use it in the microwave nearly every morning to heat the water for my single serve coffee. I frequently wash it in the dishwasher. So far the markings are just fine. This is the third measuring cup I have tried and the only one whose markings endured with use. **Q: Does it spill when you pour water out of it?** A: No, water does not spill because the spout is large enough to funnel the water. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐ Bad packing *by on Reviewed in India 13 January 2018* The product was broken when arrived. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Nice quality *by on Reviewed in the United States 7 July 2026* I use the 4 cup measuring cup to measure flour for my bread machine.Wish the ink on the outside lasted longer . ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Does its job *by on Reviewed in Canada 16 October 2026* Sturdy and reliable--and unlike my old one, I can read the indication on this! ## Frequently Bought Together - Anchor Hocking Fire-King Measuring Cup, Glass, 4-Cup - Anchor Hocking Batter Bowl, 2 Quart Glass Mixing Bowl with Red Lid - Pyrex 4-Cup Glass Measuring Cup For Baking and Cooking, Dishwasher, Freezer, Microwave, and Preheated Oven Safe, Essential Kitchen Tools --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.sk/products/305141521-anchor-hocking-77897-fire-king-measuring-cup-glass-4-cup](https://www.desertcart.sk/products/305141521-anchor-hocking-77897-fire-king-measuring-cup-glass-4-cup) --- *Product available on Desertcart Slovakia* *Store origin: SK* *Last updated: 2026-11-03*
