This review is focused exclusively on the 3x3 cube in the set. I may come back later if I find the others differ.I recently picked up 5 speed cubes (MoYu AoLong Enhanced, QiYi Thunderclap, D-FantiX YongJun (YJ) GuanLong, D-Fantix Cyclone, and this MOFANG set) I expected some to be good and some bad, but when compared to ordinary cubes, they're all very good.If you are an expert, well... you're already going to know what you like and dislike, and will need to try many cubes. I'll describe it below, but you'll need expert opinions. For anyone less than an aspiring expert - especially for those coming from "ordinary" cubes - this is a perfectly reasonable entry-level choice. I don't see 3x3 in this series on Amazon available as individual cube right now - so it may not be the right choice if you don't want the whole set.This one is about average at 86 grams. It's also average in terms of equal rotation resistance across the faces - could use a bit of adjustment. That rotation resistance is higher than average among these speed cubes. While this one allows for "cutting corners," it has less play in it than most of the others. Either this or the Cyclone would be the easiest-to-adapt-to choices among these speed cubes. I find this one "closest" to a lubed and perhaps tension-adjusted traditional cube while still being a speed cube. Those already adapted to speed cubes should probably look elsewhere. Those looking to transition have an excellent starter cube option here.The feeling of quality is reasonable. If you want a set, then the characteristics above plus the low price for the set makes this a great choice for transitioning to speed cubes.

Very smooth and remains so after 3 months! Comes with instructions, if you read Chinese (you can guess what the pictures say though).It could break apart if you drop it onto the floor from about 3 feet. The color panels would come off and you must be very careful to put them back in the right place (for example, not duplicating corner pieces). Otherwise you'll have to drop it on the floor repeatedly until your mistaken panels come off, and trust me it's no fun. It could get frustrating so better be careful not to drop it on the floor.

They're cool for knock offs. Don't drop them. My five year old dropped the 3x on the kitchen floor right off and about 10 squares popped off.They're great, really, I'd just be more stoked if my kids didn't have the attention span of house flies. Should have watched the YouTube tutorials to see if we'd even be able to wrap our heads around it first. Maybe I just don't have the attention span either.My bad.

My 11 year-old prefers Shengshou brand. These are ok for people new to cubing, because they don't turn the cube as fast as a normal cuber but when a cuber does algorithms on it (turns it fast) it snaps and falls apart.

Gd quality ... stickers are not coming off....got it fory 6 yr old ....but cubes have survived well in my 3 yr old s hand ... So definitely great buy at awesome cost. It comes with small stands which r of great use n display

These were great for about 5 minutes. I wish I'd just ordered more if the Rubik's brand.One of my students dropped the 3x3 cube and some of the caps came off. He put them back on where he thought they would go, but they were I. The wrong spot and now the cube cannot be solved.I thought I'd be smart and take all the caps off and "reset" the cube, but they don't all come off and my resident cube experts can't solve it. It is currently useless.I've contacted the seller to see if they will replace it since the description says the stickers are guaranteed to not come off and to contact for replacement.

I bought these cubes thinking they were a absolute steel but found myself very disappointed. the 3 by 3 is no good at all it pops and or locks up on every single solve. the 2 by 2 was also not so great because the quality of the puzzle was no good as it also locks up an about every solve. However the 4 by 4 and 5 by five pleased me very much. If you are a beginner I suggest buying a 2 by 2, 3 by 3, and 4 by 4 separately even if it takes a little longer for you to save up the money. If you do do this I also suggest buying a good 3 by 3 and a non Rubicks brand 4 by 4 first then a 2 by 2 then 5 by 5.

This product has exceeded my expectations. It has great quality for it's price. It was the exact reason my son got interested in cube puzzles in the first place. All the things it comes for in such good price are the following: A Mofang bag to keep all the cubes together without getting lost, 4 cubes-2x2x2, 3x3x3, 4x4x4, 5x5x5, and even some stands for the 4 Rubik's cubes. I want say how excited my son is for this product!
