ICT Billet Engine Safe - Stand Adapter Plate Chevy LS1 BBC SBC LS Heavy Duty Support Saver 551897

I'm working on a 90's Vortec 350 and I purchased this plate adapter for my Harbor Freight 1.5 ton stand that I modified with a gear box to rotate. I had problems with the original arms not wanting to bolt flush to the block and they would shift and drop the engine a couple inches every time I rotated it! I decided I wasn't going to take a chance destroying my block! And what a difference this makes! Not only is the block level and nice & flush with the stand, I can rotate the block at any angle without any load shifting! The extra support by using all of the bell housing bolt holes also makes me more comfortable about hammering the pistons back in, as well as adding the extra weight of the heads and accessories back on.Need to comment on the great seller as well! It was a Thursday and I had an incident where the shipping company marked the package as delivered, but it never was. Certain that it WAS NOT stolen, I contacted the seller and there was no time wasted Saturday overnighting me another one just in case! The original did end up showing up the next day Friday, but I was very impressed with the way I was taken care of to insure that I would have the plate for that weekend. The seller just instructed that I send the extra back, as I did.Would do business again, thank you!

I got this to mount a 5.3L LS1 to my Pittsburgh (Harbor Freight) 2 ton engine stand. It had several issues and did not fit. I'm likely going to return it. The bolts are Grade 5 on the stand side and they were too short to fit through the mounting plate. The nuts only threaded a half turn, maybe two at most. The pattern also did not line up at all. At best I could get 2 of the 4 bolts in. Very disappointing based on all the good reviews I saw here. Not sure what is going on, buyer beware...

Only issue I had was one bolt was a hair long for my LS, or possibly the block I used it on had some crud in one trans mount bolt hole. Either way, easily fixed with a washer. Makes taking engine on and off the stand incredibly easy, and I never worry about it shifting on the crappy mount anymore. Makes those HF stand much less concerning.

A must have add on to any engine stand. Very secure mounting and easy to assemble, it came with all necessary hardware. This company is a great place to do business and it's made in the USA.

Well packaged and very straight forward to put together. Works perfectly with the harbor freight engine stand. Easy way to mount an LS engine to the stand.
