If you are not proficient with plumbing or understanding water flow direction, you may want to find somebody that is. I had no issues with this system and used 3/4 PEX combined with shark bites. I mounted this system onto a secure wall stud to stud because it does carry weight even when empty and no water flow, so keep that in mind. The pictures are deceiving on its actual true size, so measure twice, cut once folks. There was no loss of water flow with this system and I can already tell the difference in taste, smell and residue left in toilets and basins due to the now lack of the white fluoride and other city water chemicals being reduced. Prior to its install, I would have white spots left over on sink and countertops and a toilet ring discoloration with a tinge of aroma. Taste of water and PH levels have been literally reduced by huge amounts and I cannot be happier with this system. Quite simply, if properly installed, this is a perfect product to help your water system.

I wish I had done this sooner! I live in a small community with our own water system & a huge iron filter but the water is really very hard & recently the fluoride levels have gone up! This system is fairly simple to install & it's made a HUGE difference in my water! No more hard water scale all over everything. I'm so pleased with this system! I also added a shower head water softener & a flouride filter to my under the counter drinking water system! I love the taste of my water now! No more bottled water!!!

Good value and has made water better

I was getting sand in my water from my well. So I looked for a filter and this did what I wanted. After using it a couple weeks, I opened it up and found some silt, so I know it works. I have to figure out a way to tap them so I can drain them, though. I have shut off valves on either side, but the filters still hold water and as I'm trying to open them up, water goes everywhere. A tap on the bottom would let me drain them after shutting off the water and I could take them quickly off.

We can drink water now Taste good, feels soft Definable you need understand nature of well water to create correct design for cleaning and treating water
