How can I get my new Logitech Laptop Speaker Z205  to work on my Toshiba S855-S5381 Laptop? The Z205 does light up however, no sound from this speaker

Your laptop appears to run on Windows 8 and the Z205 speaker is on Logitech's list of speakers that will work with Windows 8. http://logitech-en-amr.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/32433/session/L2F2LzEvdGltZS8xMzcwODY4NDI4L3NpZC9PQThRYm9zbA%3D%3D.  Windows should have automatically installed the proper driver when you connected your speaker.  I suggest you check with Logitech support and see if they will assist.

I just tried this on my Dell Inspiron, and it will load and show the speaker, but no sound comes out...help!

I must admit I have had trouble with my speaker off and on...I have an Acer Aspire laptop with Windows 7...I just plugged it in and it works.....did..you check under printer and devices and see it  there...did you make sure to push the middle button in the speaker to turn it on..and the light turned green...did you put it up to high volume on the plus + button..have you jiggled the plu into the computer..if all that doesn't work than I guess it isn't going to work..you will have to send it back...have you tried on another computer to see if it works there....sorry you are having trouble...good luck..

How can I make my Mac Air's Headphones Jack "see" the Logitech Z205 speaker?  Since the last OSX upgrade, the included USB cable will not show Headphones Out option (Apple TV has replaced it). Only when I use a 2nd cable inserted into the physical Headphones Out jack can I make the Z205 play my computer's sounds.

I was lucky in the fact that my Logitech Speakers worked as soon as I plugged them in so have had no issues.  Sorry I can't help the customer with the problems they are having.
