The images are gorgeous and provide a lot of inspiration for the possibilities that hand painted, Chinoiserie type painting can do for interiors. The book itself is beautifully produced. It is heavy, so you could build up some arm muscle by lifting it a few times every day. Page after page of stunning floral interiors will make you smile. I read some of what the author wrote and it was interesting, but to be honest, the stunning photographs beg you to keep looking at them.

Beautiful book for someone learning Chinoiserie. I purchased a lot of books recommended by the course instructor, this particular book was not on the recommended book list but I found it to be infinitely more useful and inspiring than the recommended books. Highly recommend if you are learning Chinoiserie.
