Generally like this computer
Generally like this computer. However, when watching video or using google maps, having issue with angle of viewing. Video must be watched from almost 90 degree angle, or the darker scenes cannot be watched clearly. When using google maps, the streets are very light that you can almost not see it. In this case, I have to use the screen from ~120 degree angle in order to see the street lines.Other than the screen, the computer performs fast. Had a couple of graphic failures that had to be recovered from, but not sure if that's a windows 10 or the HW issue from laptop. nothing a good reboot couldn't fix.Generally happy with the price/configuration, so I'll give it a 4 star. can't really beat it at this price point.

make sure that you install good virus protection and keep it updated
Unfotunately, I seem to have gotten a factory reject (perhaps). Within a week of using the product, the screen when using an internet browser loaded with blacked-out portions of the text, which worsened over the next few days and I decided to return it. Additionally, it was running slow and if it had a virus, I am more than positive that is because I was running Windows 10 on it. I have experience with Lenovo products before and I know that they work quite well with Linux, so I would suggest that. (I had to use windows for work). If you DO run windows, make sure that you install good virus protection and keep it updated. The mouse was also a little annoying to use and in the tablet mode, the start menu doesn't appear as it does in the laptop mode, which I never got used to. Suffice it to say, that regardless of these problems I really did like the machine - the size is perfect, the tablet mode is fun - this is really kind of a toy - and the processor seems to be quite adequate. If I am happier with the replacement, I will update the post.

and this was a perfect find, especially for the sub $450 price point ...
I rarely review much, but I was looking for a device to take with my while i was traveling that had more functionality than a standard tablet, and this was a perfect find, especially for the sub $450 price point (Daily special). Hard to beat, especially considering the SSD.

Worst laptop I've ever had.
After hearing my partner raving about how great Lenovo is, I decided to finally give them a try when I needed a new laptop. Within the first month, it would randomly black screened after about 10-15 minutes of use. Even though the computer was still running, I couldn't do anything but hit the power button for a hard shut down. This is after using it for 2-3 times at most (I have a desktop that I spend a lot more time on.)Since it was still under warranty, I sent it in for repair. They replaced the board, and everything seemed to be working fine. Life got hectic, I didn't have a chance to use it for a while and it was just sitting under my desk doing nothing. About a month after that, I went to turn it on and now it won't turn on at all. The battery light sometimes flashes white, sometimes orange. I let it charge for a whole day, still no improvement. I disconnected the battery to let it run on AC power, still nothing. At this point I suspect it's another bad motherboard, and I'm not going to spend $300 to replace it.TL;DR: Spent $700 on a brand new laptop that I used for about 10 times in the span of 4 months and it turned to a useless piece of junk. My first Lenovo will also be my last Lenovo. Sorely disappointed.

Great work and school laptop
Great work and school laptop. It gets the job done. I’ve had it for 2 years now and have only had one issue with a crash. Just restarted it and it was fine. Love the touch screen. The mouse is a little different click wise. Over all good computer.
