I would be delighted to write a positive review of Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm, which is an outstanding product for weightlifters of all levels! As someone who frequents the gym and has lifted heavy weights for years, I can attest that finding the right collars for my barbell has been a challenge. My gym does not have flush callers, only spring-loaded callers, and the movement of the "slop" on the plates can be very disorienting, especially when attempting to squat close to 600 pounds. This is where Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm has been an absolute game-changer for me. The fact that these collars are flush helps to solve the disorientation problem that I have faced in the past. The movement of the barbell feels much more stable and secure with these collars, which has allowed me to focus on my form and technique during my lifts. In the past, I have purchased other collars that have a rubber gasket on the inside. While they were affordable, over time, especially when leaving them in a cold car overnight, the gasket began to break down, making it increasingly difficult to get the collar on the barbell. This is not an issue with the Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm collars, as they do not have a rubber insert. They are well worth the additional price, as I have a feeling that these will last for an extremely long time and they won't have to be replaced every few years like the rubber gasket-style collars. Overall, I would highly recommend Lock-Jaw HEX 50mm collars to anyone who is looking for an excellent product that is both reliable and easy to use. These work great, stay where they're locked with zero issues - they make it super easy to switch out plates. Love them couldn't recommend them more.

These are good budget collars that are a nice upgrade from regular spring collars. They are pretty light, a pair weighs 9.2oz according to my food scale. They easily slide on and off barbell sleeves. They are also incredibly easy to lock requiring very little force, can easily be done with one hand. However that does come with a downside, they will shift and your plates can move when repeatedly dropped if you're doing Olympic style lifts (clean, snatch). They hold well and have not budged during standard strength lifts (squat, bench, OHP) Being ridiculous holding a barbell completely vertical the collar will begin creep down with one 45 pound plate. Overall solid equipment for regular strength training could they be better sure, but for their price I wouldn't really expect them to be. I'd avoid if you're doing dynamic lifts that involve dropping the bar unless you don't mind readjusting your plates and collars between sets.

Great collars: very easy to put on and don't slip. I don't put the barbell at 90° or any crazy test like that, but for bench, squat, deadlift with my rogue bumber plates, they work well

I love these Olympic collars. Strong, light weight and way easier to use than the typical wire spring collars and your professional Olympic collars. I will never use anything else. They look cool as well. You will not be disappointed!. 😁👍

The items arrive on time, but had to wait until I finally tried them yesterday. The description matched what I got and they were the right size for the bars. I put enough weight on them (about 70 pounds ) and they didn't move. So far I can't complain and I am pretty happy with them. I will update the review if anything changes

Seem to lock on solid and have not let me down when deadlifting 400 pounds. For my requirements in my garage gym they seem just fine.

Se siente de muy buena calidad el plástico gomoso del que está hecho, se sienten de buena construcción y se sujetan perfectamente a la barra olimpica para brindar la seguridad de que los discos no se muevan. Recomiendo.

These are so much easier to use than the crappy spring ones at most gyms. Super easy to get on and off the bar. Great quality and exactly as shown.

... uns war es wichtig, dass es weich zu schließen war, aber dennoch der Lock-Position als Übergang blind zu spüren war. Zeitgleich sollte auch beim Öffnen mit einer Hand ohne Schnallen möglich war. Aber das Wichtigste ist: Es hält fest. Viel fester als die herkömmlichen Standard-Spangen oder Basic-Gym-Collars. Aber entspricht subjektiv ca. 50% so fest wie das ROGUE USA Aluminium Collar. Basic-Collar sind gerade mal 5% vom ROGUE USA Alu Version. Nur, dass es hier nicht schnallt. Wir haben das beim Deadlift getestet als auch bei Snatches. Je nach Farbe, können die Preise variieren. Somit preiswert oder auch nicht. Aber wer einen stabilen Verschluss und weichen Hebel mag, welches auch blind mit einer Hand zu bedienen ist, der kann ruhig zu schlagen! Wir haben 3 Paare davon behalten. Auch die ROGUE USA Alu benutzen wir sowie die Basic-Verschlüsse, deshalb können wir sehr gut in der Praxis vergleichen (Powerlifting bis ca. max 250kg & Weightlifting bis ca. max 120kg). DAS PLUS - Solide Verarbeitung, innen Hartplastisches, außen Gummi - Hinterlässt bei falscher Nutzung keine Kratzer am Rack/Rig oder Equipment - Leichtgängig und dennoch griffig - Verschluss fixiert gleichmäßig über gesamte Auflage DAS MINUS - könnten evtl. brechen, wenn man fest darauf steigt, was bei Metall viel geringer ist. Kurzgesagt: frei zu empfehlen! Ich hoffe meine konstruktive Bewertung konnte zu deiner Kaufentscheidung beitragen. Über ein Feedback mit "nützlich" markieren, würde ich mich freuen :-)
