A must have for cutting plexiglass.
This little tool works perfectly and seams to hold an edge. Please be careful because this is a very sharp knife you could do some very real damage to a finger or hand. Take your time and think about what you are doing. Do not try to cut clear through the plexiglass all at once with a lot of pressure. Use mild pressure and make several passes.

Affordable, effective
This is not the most sturdy blade but it’s well worth the price point. Have used it for a few projects now

Great plexiglass sheet cutter
I was a bit nervous when I read the negative reviews, but after receiving this item, I gave it five stars because of its simplicity and its cutting ability.Yes, the packaging shows a different cutter, so I disregarded it and looked at the Amazon sale site and quickly found out how to remove the blade. Yeah, the blade slider may be tough to move (at first), but after following the very clear instructions, I managed to slide it back and forth, take out the blade, and replace the blade. It cuts a smooth, scored line that makes it easy to snap the plastic sheet.I suspect that the negative reviews may have come from people who were not familiar with scoring the plastic. Remember, you must pull the blade—not push it. When it's done correctly, you should hear a smooth whirring sound as it cuts, and you should see a tiny ribbon of plastic feeding out of the groove.,

Great for cutting plexiglass but very unsafe design
The cutter blades are super sharp and the tool is shaped so you can get a good grip. It also comes with a bunch of blades and does a great job of cutting plexiglass. I'd give it five-stars as a cutter.BUT, there is no shield for the blade which is sharp on both sides and there is no hole in handle to allow you to hang the cutter. the only safe way to store the tool is to remove the blade. Putting a blade on or taking it off is cumbersome and a slip can result in a nasty cut. Downgraded two-stars because of safety concerns. If they add a blade shield I'd give it five-stars.

Not Substantial Enough To Hold Blade Securely For Safe Cutting - Incorrect Package Instructions
Not Substantial Enough To Hold Blade Securely For Safe CuttingI returned this product because it is dangerous to use and you can buy better Plexiglass Cutters from all over Amazon.I am giving this product the lowest possible rating because of 1) its very poor design; and 2) because of the incorrect instructions that came on the package.1) The very poor design is that the plastic parts are not strong enough to securely hold the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade for safe cutting. The special Plexiglass Cutter Blade is poorly held in plastic side grooves with one spring loaded ball detent that is loosened by sliding the thumb slider backwards away from the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade. The special Plexiglass Cutter Blade is simply not held securely enough to stay in the handle. The “tip” of a knife blade is furthest from your hand. The “heel” of a knife blade is closest to your hand. To cut Plexiglass, or acrylic, sheets you first gently score a guiding line with the sharp “tip” part of the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade that looks like a conventional box cutter knife edge. Then you tilt the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade such that the “heel” of the blade, at a the rear cusp of the blade touches the scored guiding line. You drag this non-knife edge heel cusp along in the scored guiding line to dig a shallow narrow width groove. You make repeated dragging cuts to deepen the groove to more than ½ the thickness of the Plexiglass sheet. After you have a deep enough groove you can snap off the Plexiglass Sheet at the grooved line like snapping off scored glass along the scored glass line. For Plexiglass sheets you must drag cut a deep groove. The special Plexiglass Cutter Blade must be securely held in the handle to be able to use enough force to drag a deep groove. This poor design DOES NOT securely hold the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade. As designed, the plastic parts are not strong enough to hold the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade securely in place.2) The package instructions are incorrect as shown in the attached photographs. It IS UNACCEPTABLE for the manufacturer to provide dangerous incorrect instructions. The manufacturer apparently has no shame or Quality Control. The incorrect package instructions are for a completely different blade type segmented box cutter blade. There are no package instructions whatsoever on how to remove the special Plexiglass Cutter Blade. The lack of instructions is a moot point anyway because the Plexiglass Cutter Blade is not held securely enough because of the very poor product design.
