These looked like really nice paints when I watched reviews of them on youtube. Everyone said pretty good things about them, so I figured why not buy a set for myself.I regret them.The texture is so strange, it gloops together like slime and it takes a lot of water to get the right consistency to actually use it properly.Some of them aren't matte, like other gouache. The black is shiny when layered too much.They don't layer well either and most are transparent.And they smell. I have no clue what these are made with but holy, the smell is off putting.All in all, perhaps double, tripple, quadrouple check if these are what you want. I bought them on sale and I still feel bad about the money wasted.

I’m very new to gouache, so by no means an expert. These seem to be very good so far. They’re not the best of the best, but I think I’ll be using them for a long time before investing in more expensive paint. Would definitely recommend for beginners. You get a ton of paint for a great price!

My 14 year old daughter asked me to order these for her as she had heard about them and wanted to try them. She absolutely loves this product. She loves that you can use them as water colour or acrylic paints. She loves the vibrancy of the colours.

Perfect except that the individual jelly cups are not resealable, despite being advertised as such.
