Pain in the neck assembly
First: if you disregard my review and buy this, you must watch the Ikea video to assemble this. I have been assembling flat packs for my whole life, this one wasn’t just difficult it’s dangerous. There are two glass panels that are numbered #2, so don’t try to put on panel #3 after you put in panel #2, number 3 should be labeled door. The graphic instructions are very hard to follow. These panels are heavy! I smashed my finger trying to put the door on, with another person. To get the door on is no small feat. You attach the hardware on too to the door, di not attach the hardware to the door bottom but place it in the cabinet bottom, and insert the too into the too panel and slide (good luck) the bottom of the door into the bottom hardware - oh but that is assuming you have sanded off the plastic bits so it will fit right! Then hope you can close the door. Just go to Marketplace on Facebook and find a curio cabinet that is already assembled and pay someone to deliver it to you. Also, it is kind of unsteady. Just an overall bad idea to diy a very heavy glass object. I think I would rather perform an appendectomy on myself than put this together again. If I move from my current house, this thing is staying behind.
