Sturdy, but inaccurate.
Good value for money; poor man's milling vise. Accuracy is not super great and some chatter is unavoidable, but for this price is a great solid item.

The machining and screw action on this vice is somewhat sloppy. Once you figure out what works and what needs to be watched, it will function fairly well. Make sure you do several test cuts before you do an important project. The screws and tracks need grease and numerous adjustments before you start milling that gold brick.

It needs some work to make it good
If you plan to take this directly from box and use it, you will be disappointed. I took it all apart and filed down all the slide rails smooth, also added some dry lube. Then removed the large screw and polished it, removing all burs. That took me a couple hours to complete but it operates much better now. It opens and closes smoothly and with little effort. Over all not bad for the price as long as you don't mind rebuilding it.
