Review: Well worth having - I got this back in 2024. I’ve fitted it to a double wooden outside gate. So far so good, I used rechargeable batteries to power it. After a month or so the unit says that the batteries are running low but I don’t have to change them until aber 5 months or so, this is based on the lock getting used at least 5 times per day. I have the hub with this, which allows me to operate the lock via my smart phone. Which is great for deliveries when I’m not at home. The fobs were easy to program as was the fingerprint opening setup. The only issue I have is not due to the unit but due to the fact that it is on a wooden gate. In the winter the gate swells and you have to give the gate a wiggle to make sure the lock fully retracts. I have used WD 40 on it to protect it from rusting. Overall the setup and quality of this lock is great. The installation template does not fit well for left open door, with misleading positions. The supplied screws are long enough but require you to cut it as according to the door thickness.
