The ink in these pens last forever. Plus they write really nice and really smoothly. I love them! I love all the different colors. I use them for different reasons. I would definitely recommend them.

Fun color at a good price point
A few years ago, I discovered the best way to keep my family from taking all of the pens from the house was to buy these brightly colored versions. I’m the only one that likes the bright color so they never disappear. They are very good pens that write well and provide good value for the price.

Bright & Comfortable
The colors are vivid. The ink is smooth and fast drying. I like that the pen is easy to grip. The sides being flat makes them rest comfortably against my fingers. This is especially nice since I’m left handed and most pens cause a callus or blister if held tightly against my fingers.

A Case in Ballpoint: And Your Ballpoint is?
At $2.59, Paper Mate"s Inkjoy Pens, 8 ct. are not a bad value. One gets a nice, diverse selction of hues: pink, red, orange, green, blue, blue violet, violet, and black Moreover, at a length of approximately 7.5 inches and a circumference of nearly 3 inches, the pens allow one to grip it nicely with some wigglt room for shifting and accommodations still. To further evaluate the product, I have created a Pro/Con list:Pro:❂ Color: Each hue/color is nice and vibrant. The lightest, orange, is easily visible and is more like a medium orange. Building the hue almost makes it look red orange. Personally, all teh colors seem to have warm undertones. The pink has more violet tones, the red ialmost appears to have some cool hues in it more apparent when lines are broken up, the orange appears almost yellow orange initially, the green is very close to blue green as well as the blue, the blue violet hue is quite dark similar to violet, violet appears to get warmer as lines are broken as well and the black, has an okay gray scale.❂ Performance & Quality: Thus far, no issues with how the pens operate. They all glide smoothly thanks to the ballpoint tip which allows mild manipulation of color/hue ranges. Since the tip is also small, some nice detail work can be used with these pens. The ink runs smoothly with nice intensity, no complaint on that.❂ Size: Wirh a decently sized tip, there is there room to manipulate the pens and get intricate work done. The tip is basically standard for ballpoint pens; not as thin as ultra thin pens but thinner than standard, basic pens. Concerning thickness, I do find the pens easier to store as they take up less space. The diameter measure .25" which is stick-like: long and lean.❂ Components: The cyclindrical barrel that makes the actual stem of the pen is rather sturdy though it is concerning that the plastic which makes up this component is glassy--generally the shattering type. The cap has a slide-in type clip which can be usefu for shirt pockets or clipping onto the rim of a pencil container to keep track of them, though about halfway, the clip starts showing signs that it will break. The cap itself I have minor issues with because it is the type of thing to need to push into to make sure it is in all the way.Con:❂ Specification & Experience: I suppose I was expecting too much from this but I feel changes could be made for the positive.A package of 8 is alright but is the package managed to contain 10-12 pens of various hues and kept it under $3.50 or so, this would have been great. There would be more options and more joy to spread. Personally, probabbly my main issue with these pens is that the colors are not that different from each other as explained earlier; nothing was a true color such as just blue or just orange and there were no names provided to the colors. This may seem picky but this would have provided a bit more leverage for ne in the shades chosed. I am not saying the colors are bad and I can see how, with a narrow field between readable and not, how options are limited but feel more "Inkjoy" could have been spent tethering with these options.Tallying the results, equals to 4/5 stars for the Inkjoy pens from Paper Mate. Overall, the pens are smear-free, drying quickly, comes in nice bright, vivid colors, run smooth, are easy to hold and store. Minor drawbacks for me were that this option only came in 4 fairly close hue of pens per pack per price, I would have appreciated a more reasonable offer with more colors at around a dollar more. Ultimately, Paper Mate did a great job in choosing color tones that showed up well on paper, I just felt some hues over others seemed to run warmer/cooler when varying pressure but this is something of minor setback. Otherwise, the pens are actually quite great; I would recommend them as thus far it is the best colored pen (and ballpoint colored pen) option for the price I have found online yet sold directly by Amazon.
