Great fun. Learnt alot.
This was a challenge for me as I have never built anything electric. Instructions very helpful and needed. It's good when you switch it on and search for channels.

Quick delivery, fun to use
I wanted one of these sorts of things since I was a child and found this. My electronics knowledge is limited to changing a plug but the way this kit worked led me through step by step. It was lovely to finally hear an, albeit fuzzy, radio station come through.

Great Kit... If you can't building is because you have no enough knowledge.
Excellent kit, shows all the steps, including steps to study other construction methods, such as the pot method and the button method. Really good for students. Just a tip: Do not connect the antenna to GND. If you need more tips or feel difficulties, I can help you with this and other projects by Radio... wally_sound. I made my own PCB auxiliary circuit instead of using the yellow breadboard. If you want to learn how to do it just ask me... wally_sound.

Small parts flimsy other case
The picture of the box is the radio cover small pieces but good product to take te to do . Got for elderly as an activity still haven't built them after months to be honest. Need time and help

Does not work
The media could not be loaded. This was bought as a birthday present for my son. Although it was easy to assemble but apart from making a buzzing sound, the kit does not pick up any signals. It could be due to a faulty component. We assembled it twice to make sure that we have not missed any steps but it was still not working. Very disappointed. Not recommended.

I am SO glad I bought this!
For a complete beginner, this radio kit was understandable and user-friendly, the instructions had added value and explained the basics with more clarity than I expected. Everything was clearly colour coded and the instructions included pictures and diagrams to help every step of the way. My final product when the radio was assembled definitely looks the part and sounds clearer than some other radios I own! So fun to build, I made this in a single evening and have been listening to my radio ever since!
