At the age of 37 I recently got told I have high-blood pressure and have to take medication to keep it under control, easy I thought, but these particular medicines side-effects oft cause unsightly Oedema (water retention in the lower limbs leading to unsightly ankle swelling - sometimes called 'canckles'! It's looks like you've been run over like a steam roller at times, and tight fitting socks make the problem even worse (as snug as they may be). My mate laughed at me when I showed him my 'cankles', and said "maybe your socks are just too tight, you need special socks like Diabetics" he said. Well I'm not a diabetic and this problem is not as serious as the problems they face in that department luckily for me, it's just unsightly if anything, no risk of limbs falling off etc.. but my mate was right. Looked these up, slipped them on and no more cankles. Not only that but they stay on and don't annoying ride down your feet, they seem elasticated but without the elastic and are incredibly soft. Pack of six is generous, so I'm going to buy some more since I'm so impressed. Thank you whoever created these, you've helped a lot of people out here.

So I love Bamboo socks - by far the best material for your feet in terms of comfort, softness, warmth and sweat resistance with the detriment of long term wear.However, these socks are nowhere near as good as bamboo socks from other brands such as Sockshop and Pringle. These feel worse, honestly, than many normal cotton socks so yeah I wouldn't recommend - look for other brands.

THEY ARE A BIT TIGHT BUT OTHERWISE ALRIGHT

If you are a big footed fella like me I highly recommend these socks. I've always struggled with poorly placed seams and ankle areas on socks that are shown as sized for 11+.These socks however I can honestly say are the best I have found in many many years.The feel of the product is soft and feels really nice when walking around in them. They have perforations on the top of your foot which I assume is to help airflow. The ankle surround is also great as its not super tight (some socks on the market leave your ankles looking like they have been strangled but not these).I cant believe that people are actually bothered about what the bottom of their socks say. Yes these come with "sock snob" written on the bottom but I don't see it as an issue because, well...I don't see it as its on the bottom of my feet!?All round excellent product, highly recommended and will be purchasing again when I need a restock. Well done to Sock Snob!
