This works great for the kitchen. The size is perfect. So easy to find a place to store it out of the way. Super easy to clean and the display is bright enough to see from a side view.

Easy to use. Very accurate. Easy to clean. The quality is good. Only thing worth noting is cell phone signals interfere with weighing. Make sure to not set your phone right next to this device while using. It will cause numbers to jump around. That being said it’s still a great product for the money.

Received my Amir 500g/0.01g scale on 9/8/18. Scale arrived well packaged, on time, matches the description, and included 2 trays, batteries, and multi-lingual instructions. It's compact and exactly what I was looking for at a great price. I will be using this scale for DIY e-juice so I need the 0.01 accuracy. I only gave it a 4 star rating because of the cons indicated below. In general: • Calibration mode automatically asks for 100g weight. Unfortunately, I found an answer that indicated it needed a 500g weight so I bought it at the same time so I could start using the scale right away. Now I have to buy another weight and wait for that to come before I can use the scale. • Using both the 500g weight and a dime and a quarter, the scale is off a very small amount, 500g shows 499.92g. Funny thing though, I left the weight on the scale and it went up in 0.02g increments until it got to 500g. When I removed the weight, it showed 0.06g. Lesson: take the reading quickly but be sure to calibrate first. Pros: • I purchased this unit because I can turn off the auto-off function. This worked exactly as the seller indicated in the answers section. • Measures to the hundredth of a gram as shown in the name "0.01". • Has auto-calibration function. Cons: • The instructions don't include how to calibrate or change the auto-off function. But this info can be found in the answers section. • The buttons have a porous metal finish which makes them a bit hard to read. • Scale needs to be calibrated which is to be expected but seller doesn't indicate required weight for auto-calibration function.

Updated review: Okay, I wrote my original review under the influence of negative emotions (it was one of those bad days, where everything goes wrong, and I was not in a great mental state). I didn't take my mother's advice to never let my bad day affect someone else's, and I DID let it take over me when I left this review. The seller contacted me, and offered a refund for the entire scale, no questions asked, and for that I have to give it 5 stars. And I'm sure this scale is worth every penny, but if nothing else, the seller is 100% worth doing business with. It's so easy to be unkind with the faceless nature of the internet, BUT that doesn't give us a right to be, and I needed that reminder. There are real humans that are affected by our negative reactions (anonymous or not), and that's not okay. We really need to be good to each other, and that is a lesson I needed to relearn again this week. Thank you so much, again. Original Review: Sadly, I bought this scale back in July because our current scale was on the fritz, and I wanted to have a backup for the day it finally bit the dust. Like a dum-dum I didn't take the new scale out of the package, I just stored it until today when finally the other scale died, and this scale at last had it's moment of glory! ....But it wouldn't even turn on. Tried different batteries and everything. I'm sure I just got a lemon, and I'm general it's a good scale, unfortunately not this particular one. Can't completely blame the company, since I'm the one who waited until outside the return window, but it still sucks nonetheless :(

I have bought so many cheap scales made in China and I’ve had nothing but trouble with them. This one also feels cheap and Flimsy, and has instructions saying things like treat it gently and avoid putting it near phone etc, and the information in the instructions seems to contradict itself, so I wasn’t at all optimistic that it would work well, but so far, I am delighted. This is the first scale I’ve owned that measures 0.05g and the weight it says doesn’t go up and down wildly as if it is very unstable. So if this one says my item weighs 3.23g, it keeps saying 3.23g, it doesn’t keep changing. No idea if it is accurate or not, but it is CONSISTENT and that is what I need for weight tiny portions of food etc for my diet. I was initially wishing it would measure something weighing 0.03g instead of measuring 0.00g until I add enough such that the weight reaches 0.05g, but a good work around is simply to put a little bowl on the scale AFTER zeroing rather than zeroing after putting the bowl on the scale, then I simply weigh out my 0.03g by adding it to the existing total. If my bowl weighs 30.42g, then I can add my 0.03g of powder to a total of 30.45g. Apparently MOST scales have trouble distinguishing very small amounts from zero, but can distinguish a very small extra bit from an existing bigger weight. A previous Chinese-made scale I had a year ago was completely useless because no matter how careful I was to keep everything still and stable with no drafts etc, the weight it showed in x.xxg was never stable, it wasn’t even stable at the level of grams, let alone mgs, so I had to throw it out. This one at least shows a stable weight. Yay!

I bought this AMIR scale in Feb 2021 as a backup to weigh small amounts of spices. I'm rating it Dec 2024. I never used it. I did today. I pulled it out of the box, checked the batteries. Boy, I lucked out. The cheapo batteries that come with things didn't leak and they still work. I got some supplements and each capsule is supposed to have 1060 mg in them. I dumped the whole bottle of 60 onto the tray. Should weigh 63600mg. Divide by 1000 =63.6 gr. My whole bottle of supplements weighs 25 gr. I'm not happy. BUT I AM happy that this scale is accurate. I weighed the capsules on a Taylor scale as well. If you use supplements, you owe it to yourself to weigh them. By the way, I paid $13.49 for the scale in Feb 2021. Here it is Dec 2024 and it's $9.99. I DO recommend this scale.

Update; After 586 days the scale has finally given up the ghost. I should have tried to get it replaced while it was under warranty because it was always a bit wonky. About 3-4 months ago (3 months or so past the 12 month warranty) it really started acting up. I could say it was possessed by a mean spirited little sh|t that liked screwing with my head and would pass a polygraph 9/10 times. It's a sad day since I'll be outta juice before I can buy a replacement. I wish the quality control was better because I really liked the design, too bad I've had a couple. While the first AMIR scale was off by .05g, it was easy enough to adjust my measurements and I was cool with that because it was still more accurate than a .1g scale and it was priced well. That scale, exact same one as my Oct 10th 2018 purchase, it lasted just over 1 year before it decided to go off to stay with it's uncle, on his big farm. I figured it was for the best, on the farm it would have all the room to run and play, oh crap that's where the dog went, not the scale. The scale found it's way into file 13 AKA the trash. Since I've had 2 of these now and neither one making it to the 2 year mark I'm gonna have to drop it another star & I may have to try another brand or type of scale that reads .01g x 500g or .001g x 200g if I can find one at a decent price or I'll get a .001gx 100g and make smaller batches of juice, more frequently. Sory AMIR it was fun while it lasted, I'm sure you'll find the right guy for you, it's just not gonna be me. Dammit that's what I told the "real" blonde Brittany last month. Real blondes don't have brown drapes, right? Anyways I must say so long to my fairweather friend AMIR, it's been real &^ maybe we can try hanging out again once the weather gets nicer or you start making scales with better parts or quality control but, until then BYE BYE sorry about dropping you to 2 stars. If I buy another AMIR and it's accurate I'll bump you back up to 4 or 5 stars. I purchased this scale for making my own e-juice and it does so so to okay. It started off pretty close giving me readings that were + or - .01 different than the beaker that I use as a tare. After 20 or so uses the .01 grew to + or -.01-.03 which I could still work with by figuring that into the calculations but now there is a different reading between the tare weight and reading before and after using the tare. Sometimes it works great and other times the .01 portion will float around, after it settles I'll pick it up and set it back down several times and it will give me upto 4 different readings. It depends on the ingredients that are in each recipe. For flavorings that are very strong a difference of one or 2 drops can make or break a recipe and the same can be said for finishers like EM, Sweeteners sour and others. For recipes that use small amounts of strong flavorings or finishers I feel more comfortable counting a few drops than depending on the scale. With other flavors that typically have much larger %'s like TFA Ripe Strawberry and other fruit flavors the close but no cigar reading is just fine, it beats counting 60 or 70 drops. I'm not trying to be knit picky because it's not that big of a deal for me and my uses. I've got a decent collection of flavors I make 30, 40,60 and 120 ml of, so I don't make many taster size recipes that accuracy down to .01 is necessary. Compared to the amount of juice I use to dump down the drain using a .01 scale and counting drop I've definitely saved enough money that this scale is paid for and have enough left over to spend $20 on a .001 scale. If you weren't confused enough before reading this, you are now. My job here is done (mic drop). But seriously, i hope this review will help the picky picky folks out there pick a $20 .00 gram scale. For all you stoners and sloppy jalopy juice makers dis scale b jus fine.;-}

Received the package when it is supposed to be delivered, great service. It has multi-language instructions that are great. If you are in UAE, you cannot guess what the language of the buyer is :) The package includes the batteries, I don’t need to think where should I buy the battery, another thumbs up. The scale is great, as sensitive as it is explained. Even it can measure milligrams that’s awesome! It is straightforward to read the values even in low light conditions. I had tried many different scales before but I could not have found the as accurate as this scale. Thanks to TRANSFORMATION STORE.
