MR.SIGA Professional Microfiber Mop for Hardwood, Laminate Floor Cleaning

I did a TON of research and finally settled on this mop and I'm so glad I did. I wanted something commercial quality, not too expensive, sturdy, and without a bunch of disposable waste. Also was looking for a large mop head surface to make things just go a little bit quicker. I have laminate wood look floors throughout the house that have a lot of texture and could never get them really really clean. I would inevitably have to wipe some spill with a clorox wipe soon after mopping only to see a yucky brown handprint on the wipe. So gross! Did I even mop at all??! Here's my method -- I vacuum first, then sprayed a pH neutral cleaner (I use Ecolab brand from Home Depot) all over the floor, let it sit a couple minutes, mop it up with a damp cloth, rinse the cloth in the sink and ring it out, mop again, then go over the floor with a dry cloth. I can run a clorox wipe over the floor when I'm finished and the wipe is absolutely white. Not kidding. We've got 5 people in a smaller house with 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 ferrets, everyone running in and out a zillion times a day. I've tried the no shoes in the house rule but it's not a hill I'm gonna die on. The mop head is large but still easy to manage and maneuver around furniture. The microfiber seems to magically get into all the little grooves in the flooring and the edge of the cloth hangs over the mop head just enough to get up on the quarter round moulding a little bit and get that clean too. The little mechanism for getting the cloth on and off is genius and so easy to use. The cloth didn't slip even a little bit, wet or dry. I had zero issues with the mop head flipping over or the handle slipping or bending. I think I'll try it dry to dust the walls with it next. This thing is a game changer! I would give it 100 stars if I could!

This is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon. Makes quick work of cleaning laminate wood floors. I use gloves to immerse the cloth in cleaning solution. Wring out and put back on mop (very easy removal and put back on). Can clean a large area very quickly. Gets into corners and under furniture easily. Easy to do wall molding. I highly recommend this.

This is a great mop! I have been using it for a couple of months . I have 2 extra large messy dogs that drool and drip water all over the floor. It's light weight and easy to change the mopping cloth. It comes with 3 microfiber cloths that are excellent quality and the perfect thickness for mopping purposes. The cloths wash beautifully and I do put them in the dryer and have not noticed any shrinkage. If there is any you will not notice. The microfiber soaks up all the dog juice with ease. I wish I had this years ago! I keep it ready to go at all times for my dogs constant drooling and dripping. I use it on my marble and hardwood flooring with excellent results.

This mop is one of my favorite household chore tools. The removable terrycloth mop cloth is easy to rinse and use again while cleaning my floors. Then a run through the washer and dryer and it’s like brand new.

I want to point out that this is my first ever product review because I usually don't care enough to submit one. I either like a product, or I find something else to replace it. I did extensive research into this type of mop, and I am very happy with the result. So happy, it led me to write this review. I have a large dog who sheds a lot, and I am stunned at the amount of hair this thing picks up even after sweeping (I tested it when I first bought it - I don't need the broom very much anymore). This mop is great at getting under furniture and is awesome for a big room. I cut my sweeping time down to 1/4 of what I was spending sweeping with a regular broom, and I don't have to worry about stirring up dust or hair into the air for it to then land back on the floor or my furniture. As far as using it as a wet mop, I saw a lot of reviews stating that people's handles were breaking within a few uses. Mine has not broken, but I think I have an idea about why this is happening. The telescoping feature of the handle allows you to fully extend the mop, but you have to be careful not to overextend it. I think what is happening is people are extending it to the very end, causing a weak point in the handle. When you use a lot of force, then the handle could break. I suggest collapsing it just a tad to make sure that there isn't a weak point in the handle. Also, I have seen complaints about the handle retracting easily while using it. Mine has done that, but it was always due to me not tightening it enough after extending it (you can twist it to make it easier to extend or retract.) I have seen other complaints that the mop flips, especially when using it as a wet mop. I have also experienced this; however, I only experienced it when the spray was drying on the floor. At that point, it wasn't cleaning anyway due to lack of cleaner, so I sprayed more cleaner on the ground and the problem was solved. One thing I don't like about this mop is that I cannot effectively use it in tight spaces, so I have resorted to sweeping or vacuuming my bathroom floor and using a regular mop to clean it. I haven't looked into it, but if they made a smaller mop head version of this just for bathrooms and other tight spaces, I would absolutely buy it. Another thing I don't like about it (along the same lines) is that it is hard to clean corners, so I usually use a broom once I'm done and get whatever corner(s) still have dirt in them. Maybe some people would be deterred by that, but it really isn't a problem. It takes seconds to do that. I have used this as a wet and dry mop many times over the last couple of months and have no complaints other than what I mentioned above. I hope this helps. This really is a great little mop. It saves time and is way easier than the traditional bucket and mop, making it a lot easier to keep up with my floors.

We have a messy household with 8 dogs and a cat roaming around the house. They shed hair and bring dirt from outside, while also drooling and splashing drinking water lol. This is by far the best mop I found that I use every day. It picks up dog hair and dirt and holds quite a bit, so I don't have to rinse it out every second. It is also great for quick mop-up moments when our dogs come back from outside and make a mess around the drinking bowl.

It is good but big , can’t be used for small areas or corners

Ostatnio korzystałam z mopa sznurkowego z obrotowym wyciskaczem - tu nie ma wyciskacza i trzeba obsługiwać nakładkę myjącą ręcznie, ale obsługa jest niekłopotliwa. Nakładka świetnie czyści mytą powierzchnię, długo trzyma wilgoć i nie zostawia mokrych plam - co występowało przy mopie sznurkowym. Mop jest wygodny w użyciu, zwrotny i łatwo nim umyć powierzchnie pod meblami.

I was very pleased to receive this in just 2 days. As soon as I unpacked it, it looked tough enough to handle the mopping jobs around the house and light enough not to be too tiring to use. The first thing I noticed was that it got right up to the edges and into the corners. The microfibre cloth is good quality, scrubs the floor sufficiently well, and holds enough water to clean my modestly-sized kitchen. Taking the cloth off the mop and cleaning it with the kitchen sink jet spray got the cloth clean enough to use again. This time I wrang it out pretty dry, replaced it on the head and dried the floor. The resulting clean floor was sufficient proof that it works as expected. I like clean floors, but I don't much like spending ages cleaning them. This does a better job in less time than using a mop and bucket, so I'm very happy with it. My only slight concern is that the grippers on the side might not last ... if they fail, I'll report back. I'm pretty sure that this will also work for washing walls and even ceilings ... watch this space for a report once I get around to doing it. All in all, I'm very satisfied.

Je me sers de ce balai depuis trois semaines. A part le poids un peu lourd, effectivement, mais ça peut être un plus pour frotter les taches, et à part aussi le volume du l'articulation manche-balai, qui empêche de passer sous quelques rares meubles, je trouve ce balai très efficace. Je l'utilise de trois manières: - Balayage à sec lorsque la maison n'est pas trop sale, il ramasse parfaitement les poils de chien et la poussière. Le peigne pour enlever les poils est très pratique et évite d'entrer en contact avec la saleté. - Balayage humide lorsque j'ai besoin de balayer et d'enlever aussi quelques taches. - Lavage classique après avoir passé l'aspirateur lors du nettoyage approfondis. Nous avons une maison de plein pied et deux chiens qui rentrent de la terre lorsqu'il pleut, et je suis très satisfaite des divers résultat obtenus suivant la situation. Les lavettes microfibres qui vont avec ( je n'ai pas essayé d'autre marque pour l'instant) sont absorbantes et faciles à passer dans la machine à laver, elles ressortent impeccables et sèchent rapidement. Elle nettoient bien même si on les passe juste humides lorsqu'on est pressée. Bref, j'appréhendais de remplacer mon ancien balai plat que j'avais depuis plusieurs années et qui m'a laissée tomber, mais finalement celui-ci est encore plus efficace! J'espère qu'il sera aussi solide et résistant que l'autre, et pour l'instant sa solidité m'inspire confiance. Je ne me sers pas du côté beige des lavettes qui sert à cirer et faire briller. Ah! aussi, l'avantage des balais plats, c'est qu'ils passent sous pas mal de meubles et permettent de faire un ménage consciencieux. J'ai vraiment le sentiment d'avoir ravigotée ma maison lorsque j'ai terminé :) Le dernier point qui me parait très important, c'est qu'on peut travailler silencieusement lorsque les enfants dorment, ce qui permet d'avoir une maison impeccable lorsque nous nous levons :)
