Works great with SmartThings
Works out of the box with SmartThings. Put it in pairing mode, scan for nearby devices in the SmartThings app and it pairs within a few seconds. Motion detection is very quick and accurate, you might need to experiment a bit with the placement but once you have that down, it triggers almost instantly when motion is detected. It's only been a couple weeks so it's probably too early to comment on battery life, but so far it still reports as 100%. One little quirk that I've noticed is that the device will show as offline in SmartThings after a few hours without any activity, but it will come back online as soon as motion is detected. I'm guessing this is to conserve battery and I'm okay with it if it means I get longer battery life.I've got 4 of these sensors so far, they're great value and I'll gladly buy more of them if I need to.

Another garbage sonoff product
STAY AWAY from these. Like everyone else on the Internet these are plagued with problems and will always be stuck in motion detected mode. Make sure you always buy sonoff from Amazon due to the very high failure rate.

Works well will Home Assistant!
If you're a smart home enthusiast, these are a great entry level motion detectors. I bought them so I could pair to my home assistant and they did exactly that. They're simple motion detectors and they work great for the price. Will totally buy more when my needs need them Sonoff is a great brand. I will continue to buy products from them

2 out of the 4 that I ordered work correctly kind of.
I purchased 2 packs of the 2 pack. I only had an issue with connecting one them. Once I was finally done struggling getting the last one connected, I thought everything was going great! Everything was working as it should for a total of 24 hours. One morning I woke up and walked out of my room to no lights. The motion sensor for that automation stopped working. I looked back at the logs and saw that the motion sensor disconnected at 3:34 am.I left it for the day and came home after work, still not connected. I attempted to re-pair the sensor with my hub. No luck. The hub detects the sensor, but it is stuck on "motion detected".I have also noticed since this happened, the other one more has stopped detecting motion all together. It still says that it is connected, just no motion detection. The other two are still working(ish). They are very slow to trigger. I know it is not my automation's being slow because I have tried other sensors. I've tried rebooting my hub, disconnecting my sensors and reconnecting, moving my hub closer to the sensors, still.... nothing.I cannot recommend these senors if you are using a Home Assistant setup. I even have these paired with the Sonoff USB zigbee dongle. I tried keeping all of the brands the same so that they will work better together, but I guess that is not the case with Sonoff.Also.... The back cover that you need to take off to get to the battery is a PAIN IN THE A** to get off!!!!I will be returning and replacing them with a different brand.

Works great with HA
Purchased specifically to use with a ZigBee controller and Home Assistant. Works great, paired up correctly right out of the box. The sensor detection motion range appears to be pretty wide, and the device's responsiveness is fairly instantaneous. My only gripe and reason for 4 star rating is that the batteries shipped with almost no charge. The battery died almost immediately after using, but once replaced has lasted quite a while. Overall for the price, great value for a sensor if you want to use with HA.

Limited range, otherwise is fine (I solved my sensor's disconnect problem)
Update on March 1st:1 star off because its limited connection range. Actually, it has the shortest connection range of all zigbee devices I saw.If you plan to use it within the same room of your hub, or you have zigbee repeaters installed all over your home, you probably find it is fine.Otherwise, it may disconnect after a few days. For my test, one door/one wall plus 4 yards distance is fine. But one wall plus 8 yards will make it very unstable. Mine dropped out of network every three days.Eventually I switched its location with my Samsung motion sensor. Samsung motion sensors have superb range, they can even connect from 1st floor to 2nd floor. Now I keep those Sonoff sensors closer to my hub.---------------------------Update on Jan 31:I figured out how to reconnect the "broken" one to my home assistant. Both can work now. Let's see how well they are going to work. Now my judgement:1. Building quality is so so. Like everyone else mentioned, they have a one minute cool down time, the same as Aqara motion sensor but longer than Samsung, Hue and 3R. Battery is not grocery store available battery (same as Aqara and Samsung, but Hue and 3R use AAA batteries). The mounting design is also not the best, making changing battery a pain. Samsung uses magnetic mounting, 3R can be easily slide out. Aqara also use 3M tape but can be rotated out. For Sonoff, you need to use a screw driver to pry the sensor out.Anyway, it is the cheapest of all. As of today, Hue is $40, Samsung was $30 but no longer available, 3R and Aqara is $20, Sonoff is only $15 each.Personally I love 3R the most, you may have different opinion.2. Despite many bad reviews online, they can work in my home, at least now.If you cannot get them work with home assistant, try to reload zigbee integration or even restart your home assistant. Don't bother to repair too many times. You may need re-pair once or twice, but more than three times is definitely not usual.I reload my ZHA integration and now everything works fine.I don't know what you can do with amazon echo or google home if you cannot get them work, maybe power down your hub and try again?Original review before I figured out the problem:---------------------------Short version: poor quality, don't buyLong version:I really should have believed all other customers' words!I always thought I am an expert on IoT devices and I can solve any stupid problems others might be stuck. No. I am not smarter than other guys. Both sensors can pair with Home Assistant easily, though it took a long time wherever not adjacent to my hub.One can work, though the cool down time is 1 minute like everybody said. That is not too bad. Aqara motion sensor also has 1 minute cool down time. The other cannot work at all. Never detected a motion. Tried re-pairing and reconfiguration countless times. I gave up.30 bucks for 2 sensors is cheap, I can bear with its poor building quality. 30 bucks for 1? No. Return them all.

Great sensors
Using with Home Assistant. Very easy to use, and they do just what they are meant to do.

Importante
