Duncan Hines Creamy Chocolate Flavored Frosting, 16 oz.

I have no idea how many flavors and canisters of Duncan Hines Frosting I purchased to make fudge with this Christmas. They are so easy to use, the texture is perfect, and the quality is amazing as always. I love Duncan Hines in general. They make a quality product at a reasonable price. I used the vanilla with orange food coloring, a cap of orange extract, and a bag of white chocolate chips (melted together, not the food coloring and extract, I added those after melting the chocolate and frosting), on top of chocolate frosting mixed with a bag of dark chocolate chips (melted together). Swirled the two layers together with a spoon to make it like the dark chocolate oranges you buy. Then put it in the fridge to cool before cutting into squares. So delicious and super easy!

We were making gingerbread houses in my class and a few kids couldn't afford the supplies. Amazon to the rescue. This frosting is delicious and it makes the perfect "Glue" for the houses. It is very easy to spend because of the creamy texture. The children used popsicle sticks to spread the icing and it worked beautifully!

When this arrived I was a little concerned that it wouldn’t be chocolatey enough because I looked to be a lighter milk chocolate than I was expecting but it’s actually a little darker chocolate than I realized and I’ve never used this brand before but it so inexpensive that I had to try for the cake I was baking and I am so glad that I bought it because it’s just delicious! It’s not too heavy like many frostings can be, almost like eating chocolate flavored lard and that’s not very appealing or appetizing so I was really very happy with this purchase and the price was great so I got a very happy twofer, two great things in one little container of scrumptious frosting! Now, to me, the container seemed a little smaller than the brand I usually buy so if you’re frosting a larger cake and like your frosting on the thicker side like I do, you may want to buy two containers but it would definitely frost a 9”x 11” cake in a pan. However, I really like my frosting on the thicker side so in the next time I’ll buy two containers and that should frost a layer cake if you like your frosting thick like my family and I do. I do believe I’ve found a new favorite frosting and this is so chocolatey that I’m sure it will please all the chocoholics out there, this is yummy and that’s not a word I use often. This definitely brought some smiles with dessert!

This is the best tasting icing I have ever used for a red velvet cake. It is rich yet creamy and smooth with no after taste. I would highly recommend this icing for your red velvet cakes or any other baking you need to use it for as an icing.

Duncan Hines ist einfach so lecker. Ich kaufe es immer und immer wieder. Ich kann dieses Produkt einfach weiter empfehlen. So cremig & schokoladig.

I will be using this product for frosting cake mix later in year,and thought it would make a change from Betty Crocker's frosting,as I used Duncan Hines before in 80's and 90s whilst travelling and living in North America.,but find it very hard to obtain in UK as a whole.

Este producto tiene un sabor como harinoso y no se pudo aplicar bien al pastel. Estaba duro a pesar de no haber estado refrigerado.
