It's resembles my natural lip color. It's only a little brighter. Lipsense is it's own thing. So you have to do your research. It will tingle or sting when you put it on. It will take multiple coats. You do have to reapply the gloss over the lip color. But tbh... I would rather apply CLEAR gloss with no mirror required as it is CLEAR. Rather than touching up my liquid lipsticks and having the crumble off. This is an investment. It's lip color that doesn't come off. I live it. This is a legit lipsense. I bought my starter kit at a bridal expo. This lipsense looks no different. It lasts 5 to 6 hours for me. Also you need to use the glossy top coat gloss to seal well. After the initial glossy top coat I use the matt top coat gloss through out the day. I don't like the real shiny look and feel of the glossy gloss.If you over apply you tend to feel and see a residue on your lips, so do follow the directions. Also do not touch your lips together until after applying the glossy gloss top coat to seal.It is a bit pricy compared to other long wearing lip covers. But with my experience LipSense does last longer if applied following the directions.
